... i found a glitch in the qt client that would not allow you to use your own .conf file...
Operator error is not a bug. |

If you will like to try solo mining with Windows qt client. Run "universalcurrency-qt.exe -conf=./universalcourrency.conf" this will force your client to load the .conf file you want instead of the default .conf file.
Again, this only applies if you put the config file in the same dir as the exe. |

OK, let's apply Occam's Razor to this situation..... Which is more likely: A) The guy that needs 12+ hours to add a single coin to a running stratum discovered a bug in a BitcoinCore fork that hasn't effected any of the 100s of thousands of iterations of such clients or B) The guy that needs 12+ hours to add a single coin to a running stratum has no clue what he's doing  |
