Though it will cause us to run at a loss due to tx fees, we will offer the requested min bet of 2.5 ltc during public testing.

Unfortunately it seems ltc miners are ignoring our micro tx's, this is rather unfortunate as it prevents us sending the result back as a payment.
Further investigation is still required to find out why, but micro tx's that previously showed up but were not received by players on http://explorer.litecoin.net/ no longer show at all.

We apologize for this inconvenience and hope to resolve this issue shortly via a twitter feed. We would like to see micro tx's supported fully on litecoin, the same code and transactions work flawlessly on bitcoin.

After trialing ltc support for ~1 week now we have had to make some hard choices.

Due to litecoins high per coin tx fees 1 ltc = 0.1 ltc tx fee and requests to support lower bets we had to start deducting 0.1 from player winnings to avoid running at a steady loss on small bets.

The conundrum we have is that we do want to support small bets of 1 ltc and we also do not want to tax players unfairly.

The current proposal we have is this:

Bets below 10 ltc that win on a game will unfortunately be taxed 0.1 ltc.
Bets above will not, the house will wear the cost.

This will allow players to test out games on small bets and stop serious players from paying tx fees where the house edge can cover it.

Hrmm I think you are over thinking this. Your competition Satoshidice and most other sites (that use instant payouts) charge the tx fee on both winning and loss and you are concerned about just charging on the winnings ? I say charge a flat txfee.

Your suggestion of only charging bets below a set size does sound good but it may be confusing for the users.

Thanks mem, we dont wish to charge any txfee on the losing bids and would definitely prefer if the house could absorb the cost.
Low barrier to entry is our aim.

We will be moving forward with the following:

BTC Minimum bet size for 0 tx fess = 0.05, bets below that will will have a 0.0005 LTC fee deducted.
LTC Minimum bet size for 0 tx fess = 5, bets below that will will have a 0.1 LTC fee deducted.

we feel this is the fairest compromise available.
Code monkey was going to be implementing it today but he was tied up with work, the new estimate to completion is 'soon'
