That what I hate about Crypto is people thinking a Dev abandoned their coin because they don't post daily! Like believe it or not some people DO have lives outside of Crypto mate!! I've got a job, a wife, 2 kids and tons of other shit going on in my life so I'd hate to see if I ever developed a coin how quick people would scream DEV'S GONE!! HE HASN'T POSTED FOR 3 DAYS!!! COINS DEAD!!  Honestly people in crypto need to start realizing this shit! This coin is a highly sought after coin with a good Dev behind it so if he hasn't posted for 3 days BIG DEAL!! If you are that certain he's gone then dump your coins because I'm sure there will be lots of people willing to take them off your hands mate Cheers

Alright, as some people are getting antsy about news, etc. I'm just going to say that this is not a short proof-of-stake/hype marketed project. I did not build everything and have it ready at launch time so I could have daily updates and releases for a couple weeks (and then have a completely dead coin).

That said, I cannot sit at the computer 24/7 due to life/work/girlfriend. Believe it or not, I do occasionally enjoy going hiking or going to the beach

Dude, you think I'm that slow on the uptake? I did ages ago, for the fun of it, as it's a really complex new algo with an odd design. Haven't sold nor shared it, though; besides, maybe I'll get another idea for it, who knows.

Most people aren't reasonable - they don't think about what they'd do if they were someone else, they only consider what they want from them. To be honest, I don't really expect DropLP to become super profitable or anything - I mined some, and I'm keeping it; I may mine again sometime, though. I did it because it was interesting - DropLP has a very odd design, and while of course you can do it on GPU - damn near anything can be - it was somewhat of a challenge to implement it in a way I would call correct. Well... correct isn't quite the right word, there's likely other interesting ways to solve it, but I meant it was an interesting challenge to do it in a way that wasn't terrible.

Ya I feel ya mate I just remember people in the Spreadcoin thread reaming and fussing because you probably had an optimized miner and I just remember thinking to myself "SO WHAT???" Like people out there have huge mining farms with thousands of MH/S mining coins! Like I just don't like how a lot of people have the mentality that people who can figure things out or optimize things in crypto owe everyone something lol That's all mate I do like how you state though that the algo was interesting to you so you wanted to do what you could with it that's pretty neat. Why does Bittrex or YoBit takes 0.0002 as fee than? Or c-cex 0.0005?
For example XAPO takes no fee at all.

0.00001004 / kb is standard and 0.0005 /kb for fast transaction.

Yes alcurEX BTC fee is still on BTC-e level and I can lower it because our user made usually low size transactions.

We use tx fees for transactions between cold storage and hotwallet for protecting deposits, not collecting profits.
