The game has closed. If you send a bet, it will be returned to you.

Last Bet Wins

Send 0.01 btc to:

1betTVGPkDEMpFL2L7tMUx7yQaBA9sRu6

If your bet is the last transaction in the block, you win all the bets for that block less 1% fee.
The time of the bet doesn't matter. It is the ordering of the bet transactions in a block.
If your winnings is less than 0.02 btc, we will add to your winnings to make it 0.02 btc.
All bets below 0.01 btc are not valid but will be added to the prize.
All bets above 0.01 btc are valid but it won't improve your chances to win.
All winnings will be sent to the sender's address right after the block is confirmed.

**updated to make it clearer how to determine the last bet in a block**
Winnings will be sent to the sending address. Make sure you own the address.

How to check the winner:
Go to http://blockexplorer.com/b/354111 (replace 354111 with the block that you want to check)
Search for the address 1betTVGPkDEMpFL2L7tMUx7yQaBA9sRu6 which sent 0.01
The last transaction (nearest the bottom) wins the block.

This is reasonable demand to ask him to use escrow for funds. This will bring you two advantages one makes you trustworthy and second people will have have interest in your game. Your game is good make it transparent and worth to play by adding escrow service.

If your bet is the last transaction in the block, you win all the bets for that block less 1% fee.

By what you meant as last transaction in the block do you mean the last transaction in one block to the address you provided or the whole bitcoin network? If it is the whole bitcoin network, I assume it is pretty much very hard to get and it wont be attractive enough to lure player in

this is automatic
i can send 0.5 btc as escrow. but to whom do i send it?

This is a list of escrow provider that you can choose from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0 feel free to choose the top 5 or the other

P.S : I can act as escrow also for this if you want to  Wink

the last transaction in one block sent to the betting address i provided. the last valid one. example 10 players will send their bets so there are 10 transactions, the last transaction among those ten in a particular block will win. those who sent less than 0.01 btc will not one so the last valid one. did i explain it well?
every block will always have a winner as long as there is at least one valid bet sent in that block. if the prize is less than 0.05 btc, it will automatically send 0.05 btc.

i can send you 0.5 btc as escrow if you like. have you done escrows before?

Fair enough, so each block has its winner but doesnt this will actually make you bleed if say there is only 1 player for each round? You cant always provide 0.05 BTC as additional prize

Nope I havent, but I do know how the procedure to be an escrow , Ill posted a signed message if you wish to proceed with this or else you can choose from the list from Marco's thread  Wink

P.S : never too late to be one aint it? Smiley

EDIT : you can send it to 16HXCim9gVmFnLJkG2ikt1Vc83XsXQ5Qzj if you want to proceed and Ill post bitcoin signed message from that

I've tested the game and it works automatically, so you have my vouch for this

 Wink

Here is the proof that I won 0.05 BTC instantly after 1 block is confirmed, still it is best to use escrow to gain more attention to your site

If this is real, then the thread starter is generous.
You should create a site so that we can organise bigger games to play.

well this is real, but honestly i can't prolong it if only one player only plays
i need at least 5 bettors per block so that i will not be losing.

I see so unless the total amount doesnt exceed 0.05 BTC then the fee wont be applied? Dont you think if you keep on doing this in the long run this could actually be a double dagger that might hurt you ?
IMO the 1 % fee should also be applicable to the guaranted 0.05 BTC prize. 1 % of 0.05 BTC is merely 50k satoshis, it basically only helps you to pay for the fee

The concept is great and Im the only one playing here, So im the one who keep on winning this
Im now 0.04 BTC x 3 = 0.12 BTC in profit .

EDIT : too bad no one is playing, how about if you stop the game for now? it seems like im the only one that keep on playing and winning, thats not good for you

2 winners already won 0.05 btc for a 0.01 btc bet
i think from one player
congrats Smiley

here are the tx for payment of winners

Well those 2 winner are me  Smiley. I have tested your site and it is running smoothly, im going for the third one here and hope to be the only winner since no one has played yet

There is only slight error with the system, the 1 % fee is not functioning well and I still receive the full amount of 0.05 BTC

EDIT : won the third one too  Wink

if you will keep on playing and nobody else, you will win a total of 5.76 btc per day
and i will lose the same amount Sad

i hope the others will play too

Well. If this game becomes popular then you will gain a huge profit in this. New games always go the way like this at first

how is that going to happen when the winnings are automatically sent after each block?
you mean 100 players will play for each block and i will run? that will make me earn 1.4 btc per day in fees and i will run for 1 btc? doesn't make sense.

by the way it's been several blocks already and one player is making 0.04 btc per block because he is the only one playing. it's a good opportunity.

well 0.05 btc is the guaranteed amount. if the net prize does not reach 0.05 btc, the system automatically adds to make it 0.05 btc.

EDIT : too bad no one is playing, how about if you stop the game for now? it seems like im the only one that keep on playing and winning, thats not good for you

i'll let it be for a little longer. then if you will be the only one who will play, i will announce to pause it for a while. nobody is also replying my escrow requests.

I see thats your call if you wish to pause the game for now, Wondering why no one is interested as they can check my address here and see the transaction there, it is basically a good vouch with some solid proof  Huh

https://blockchain.info/address/1betTVGPkDEMpFL2L7tMUx7yQaBA9sRu6

Well I actually could be the escrow if you dont mind about that, have you contacted quickseller? he is basically active and will reply as soon as possible

at the end this will happen that when he get enough fund like 1-2 btc he will not pay he will run away with the money.

That is why there are escrow to ensure that you will get your payout if you win and OP is willing to use escrow

around 5 blocks and the last winning block hasnt paid me yet, any issue with it?

EDIT ; I have received the winning amount

Sure Do I will stop for now and let the others have a taste on it, how about a guaranteed of 0.02 BTC for now since there is no one paying attention to this

can you please let me know if i can stop it after you get paid so that i can make some changes?

No worries about this, I had stop and the last block hasnt paid me yet

May i suggest that you only guarantee 0.02BTC if there is only 1 player playing and an additional 0.01 BTC if there is 2 or more people playing? Hope this will be a good promotions for your game

P.S : I will stop dont worry, thankyou very much .

P.S2 :To the others reading this right now, you know this is real and I have won like 0.2 BTC in profit , feel free to try it  Smiley

the game has resumed but only 0.02 btc is guaranteed winnings per block. edited the original post also. you can now resume playing. if only one player will play, his 0.01 btc bet becomes 0.02 btc.

when there is a new block, the last transaction in that block that sent to the betting address will win. the winnings will be sent right after a block is made. only 1 confirmation. just wait up to a maximum of 3 minutes since the sofware will sleep and wake up every 3 minutes to see if there is a new block. then it will send the winnings less 1% of the total bets, or 0.02 btc if there are 2 players or less who bet.

You send 0.02 BTC to the game, if there are 1 more people that send atleast 0.01 BTC before the next block found than you will lose the game. Since the guaranteed price is now 0.02 BTC then you are not getting anything

EDIT :

OP, are you sure you have changed the guaranteed price? https://blockchain.info/tx/68218b2aa55f04c9d054f007a857f9b465b03501220255e96abc00fab0e56d8d is still at 0.05 BTC guaranteed, perhaps you should check it once more

That means we just can get 0.02 easily just send him 0.01? Just like that or that must be more complicated thing to explain?

think of it like this,
all bets will be sent to the winner.
the winner is the last bet who made it to the block
the total bets will be deducted 1% as fee before it is sent to the winner
if the winnings is less than 0.02 btc, we will add to make it 0.02 btc

No, winner takes all the bet sent during 1 round with a minimum of 0.02 BTC. It doesnt matter who send first, you need to be the last before the bet got 1 confirmation

to OP, please check my posts above, it seems there is an error there

EDIT : it seems like BTCevo won, but it seems like my transaction was the last

That is my address and yes I won the winning price is 0.04 because there are 4 people right? Nice but it seems this is just a random and need luck may be. So far it is so fun and thanks for the prize. So how long are this game going to take? Is there any time limit for it?

Im sorry Im no expert on this, but doesnt it actually means that the latest transaction was from the top to the bottom? since the newly generated coins was on top, it means that it is the last transaction on the block

Arallmuus' bet on the top and that winner bet was on the bottom? doesnt this mean that arallmuus won? Again im no expert with the block thingie

I based my thought on the newly generated coins, newly generated coins means that it is the lat transaction before it carries over to the next block. So from top to bottom, it means that those on top where the latest sequence of transaction.

EDIT : the last transaction ( new coins ) were on top, so those bet whose are higher should be the last one

And from that it actually shows that my bet were the last from all 4 bets and I should won, no? isnt the last transaction was on the top? It is very confusing if you make it this way, but instead could you change it based on the timestamp on blockchain so it can be checked directly

i based it on the list form a programming perspective. anyway, they say the miners will have the last say on the ordering of transactions. i just pull out the list and get the last transaction from the list and declare it the winner.

actually i just inspected the block and the transactions are not ordered by time. so by basis was the last on the list. and for now that will be the basis of the winner.

Yes it is not time based and the last transaction was on top which is the newly generated coins, so by basis to basis , those on lower part of the list was not the last transaction. So my bet was actually a winner bet since mine was on the higher part of the list from all those 3 bets

Anyway I wont argue this more since I have gotten more in profit then what I lost due to this last transaction issue, I hope that you fix this thing or atleast make it based on the timestamp in blockchain. Thankyou very much for the game  Smiley

You should put in OP about using the compatible wallet such as blockchain.info so this kind of issue can be avoided in the future. Too bad BTCballa cant get the amount that he won  Undecided Undecided

so its the last bet received before block confirms. I am a little confused. Also i sent .01 for the game but it came from circle and 2 sending addresses. Will that matter if i win?

just a heads up. I won the last game. I sent using circle and it did not send btc to an address I have access to. Just an fyi and a mistake on my part i suppose. no biggie

oh sorry to hear that Sad

You should put in OP about using the compatible wallet such as blockchain.info so this kind of issue can be avoided in the future. Too bad BTCballa cant get the amount that he won  Undecided Undecided

If you send stakes from site as primedice or poloniex that mix transactions you can't receive your winning prize back, you lost your fund

Just chatted with circle. I guess when I send from my account the send address isn't a receive address that is linked to my account. They have the .0396 and won't give to me lol. Then wondered if it was a gambling game because bet was in the address. Apparently circle doesn't support gambling. Oh well only out .01 just like I lost anyway

of course there wont be a last bet as anyone can drop in money whenever they want, also it should be in investor based games

EDIT: just saw that it was updated to count the last bet in block

Thats kind of hard luck , but if they actually said that they don't support gambling sites and that is the reason they won't give you the funds , then thats kind of an invalid reason for them, as its just an exchange site , and should not care what funds are used for(unlike wallets which may block the amount) .

Ya, I told them I dont see how its relevant where the funds came from, but they linked me to the terms of service and it does same:

 "gambling activities including but not limited to sports betting, casino games, horse racing, dog racing, lotteries, games of chance, sweepstakes, games of skill that may be classified as gambling (i.e. poker), or other activities that facilitate any of the foregoing;
We understand that gambling may be legal in your jurisdiction, but unfortunately we cannot allow you to use Circle in connection with these activities."

The entire reason I switched to circle from coinbase was that coinbase was/is cracking down on gambling.

As for the funds not being returned, im not sure if its because they suspect gambling? Circle does seem to mix transactions and the send address isnt a valid return address, apparently. Kind of frustrated with the live support too. He was very pushy asking me about the transaction and what it was for.

Yes I agree. Its actually an interesting idea. Almost similar to a Ponzi scheme but what makes it very unprofessional is the newbie account and that it doesn't feature a website.

how can it be a ponzi when the winnings are guaranteed every block and it is sent right after the block is mined and i have escrow. it doesn't make sense. besides, if you look at it closely and if at least two players will play every block, i will earn 1% from the bets.

Original post also updated.

Ah, interesting to see noone has done this before (or to my knowledge). My only concern is of your rank, do you think you could use an escrow for this or something along the lines of that to make the game more safe?

Dont you see the op? Someone already suggest it and its already been played for along time

How to check the winner:
Go to http://blockexplorer.com/b/354111 (replace 354111 with the block that you want to check)
Search for the address 1betTVGPkDEMpFL2L7tMUx7yQaBA9sRu6 which sent 0.01
The last transaction (nearest the bottom) wins the block.

Is the game under maintenance now?
I see there are one bet in block 354168, 354169, 354170 and 4 bets in block 354171, but it seems there is no payout yet.

there is. all winners were paid. bets are sent right after the block is mined. so payments for block 354168 was sent and was included in block 354169 etc. i'm using a linux daemon so payments does not necessarily come from the 1betxxx address.

I see. Thanks for your clarification. I didn't notice some payments don't come from the bet address.

BTW, I just made a bet and looks like I am going to win it.

the total bets of all players less 1% fee will be the prize for the winner. however, if 1 player only bets, that player will get 0.02 btc automatically. because 0.02 btc is the guaranteed prize pool.

It is already listed pretty clearly in OP.
The winner will get 99% of all the bets in that block, and there is a minimum of 0.02 btc.

So basically if there is just 1 or 2 bets, the winner will get 0.02 btc back. If there are N>2 bets, the winner will get 0.0099*N btc back.

it is also indicated in the OP how to check who won. all transactions are put inside a block in an order determined by the miners. if your transaction is valid (not below 0.01 btc bet) and you are the last transaction in the block sending to the address given, you will win all bets.

i still didn't get my escrow back Sad

I wonder why you trusted him your coins. If you look on his trust it is from years ago, most probably he just bought the account

i lost a lot trying to create games now it seems i lost on escrow too

Try to post in scam accusation thread and put all the proof you have. I wish you can get your coins back

ESCROW FUND are still safe.
Just doing more accurate controls because Jmasterson's PMs have this warning message:
!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!

i don't know. maybe because i'm a newbie. when will you send me back my escrow?

All pm's from newbie have that warning. Whats keeping you so long before returning back the funds?

PMs from newbies now have a warning added to the beginning of the PM. The warning is actually added to the PM's text, so it won't be added to old PMs or removed when the sender leaves newbie status.

The warning is:
!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!

All clear now, that message was added by theymos May 1st.
Funds can be returned.....

It takes times because of this user agreement
......
. just send it back to me when everything is ok.
.......

NOW IS OK
