so its the last bet received before block confirms. I am a little confused. Also i sent .01 for the game but it came from circle and 2 sending addresses. Will that matter if i win?

just a heads up. I won the last game. I sent using circle and it did not send btc to an address I have access to. Just an fyi and a mistake on my part i suppose. no biggie

Just chatted with circle. I guess when I send from my account the send address isn't a receive address that is linked to my account. They have the .0396 and won't give to me lol. Then wondered if it was a gambling game because bet was in the address. Apparently circle doesn't support gambling. Oh well only out .01 just like I lost anyway

of course there wont be a last bet as anyone can drop in money whenever they want, also it should be in investor based games

EDIT: just saw that it was updated to count the last bet in block

Thats kind of hard luck , but if they actually said that they don't support gambling sites and that is the reason they won't give you the funds , then thats kind of an invalid reason for them, as its just an exchange site , and should not care what funds are used for(unlike wallets which may block the amount) .

Ya, I told them I dont see how its relevant where the funds came from, but they linked me to the terms of service and it does same:

 "gambling activities including but not limited to sports betting, casino games, horse racing, dog racing, lotteries, games of chance, sweepstakes, games of skill that may be classified as gambling (i.e. poker), or other activities that facilitate any of the foregoing;
We understand that gambling may be legal in your jurisdiction, but unfortunately we cannot allow you to use Circle in connection with these activities."

The entire reason I switched to circle from coinbase was that coinbase was/is cracking down on gambling.

As for the funds not being returned, im not sure if its because they suspect gambling? Circle does seem to mix transactions and the send address isnt a valid return address, apparently. Kind of frustrated with the live support too. He was very pushy asking me about the transaction and what it was for.

Yes I agree. Its actually an interesting idea. Almost similar to a Ponzi scheme but what makes it very unprofessional is the newbie account and that it doesn't feature a website.

how can it be a ponzi when the winnings are guaranteed every block and it is sent right after the block is mined and i have escrow. it doesn't make sense. besides, if you look at it closely and if at least two players will play every block, i will earn 1% from the bets.

How to check the winner:
Go to http://blockexplorer.com/b/354111 (replace 354111 with the block that you want to check)
Search for the address 1betTVGPkDEMpFL2L7tMUx7yQaBA9sRu6 which sent 0.01
The last transaction (nearest the bottom) wins the block.

Original post also updated.

Ah, interesting to see noone has done this before (or to my knowledge). My only concern is of your rank, do you think you could use an escrow for this or something along the lines of that to make the game more safe?

Dont you see the op? Someone already suggest it and its already been played for along time

Last Bet Wins

Send 0.01 btc to:

1betTVGPkDEMpFL2L7tMUx7yQaBA9sRu6

If your bet is the last transaction in the block, you win all the bets for that block less 1% fee.
The time of the bet doesn't matter. It is the ordering of the bet transactions in a block.
If your winnings is less than 0.02 btc, we will add to your winnings to make it 0.02 btc.
All bets below 0.01 btc are not valid but will be added to the prize.
All bets above 0.01 btc are valid but it won't improve your chances to win.
All winnings will be sent to the sender's address right after the block is confirmed.

**updated to make it clearer how to determine the last bet in a block**

How to check the winner:
Go to http://blockexplorer.com/b/354111 (replace 354111 with the block that you want to check)
Search for the address 1betTVGPkDEMpFL2L7tMUx7yQaBA9sRu6 which sent 0.01
The last transaction (nearest the bottom) wins the block.

Is the game under maintenance now?
I see there are one bet in block 354168, 354169, 354170 and 4 bets in block 354171, but it seems there is no payout yet.

there is. all winners were paid. bets are sent right after the block is mined. so payments for block 354168 was sent and was included in block 354169 etc. i'm using a linux daemon so payments does not necessarily come from the 1betxxx address.

I see. Thanks for your clarification. I didn't notice some payments don't come from the bet address.

BTW, I just made a bet and looks like I am going to win it.
EDIT: Yup I received the payment now. Everything work perfectly. Smiley
