you can greatly reduce halving rate, to 1000 for example.
this will reduce total number of coins and reduce mining pressure on the price of the stage when coin hit exchange

1 million coins total, block reward same all the way through PoW phase, no PoS until the last PoW block. After that a PoS coin with 2% interest per year max.

This way you don't need miners to keep the network moving along and there is no dumping from miners pushing the price down.

Miners will abandon the coin if the value drops below profitable levels. At which point you will need to buy hash to keep the network going.
