Somehow somebody had nodes before we do, we peered to minerpools and got going but the wallet didn't sync on it's own at first and I didn't see any hardcoded nodes in the source.

by the time supr launched... i think they were the first for sure... already 97 blocks. honestly i thought it was a pre-launch or something. someone mined some coins super fast.

my rigs didnt really start to engage until difficulty was in the 300+ range.

But i got about 400 coins thus far.

Its now slow as.....

1 gh = like 1 coin every few min.

Little boring now.

I had the old source - so i just needed to to a Diff vs the new source - this speedup compilation a lot, since it was only a new genesis block.

I had no connections/peers as well after launch though, as you see in my post earlier. Wallet then eventually connected after I posted "Nodes?", the dev then probably started his node.

Yes DEV, and this is why you have the first 100 or 200 blocks reward 0 coins, to prevent an instamine situation.
