Where price support from the developers. I invested in this coin 0.5 BTC and I'm starting to worry

I had several thousands of these coins when they were worthless - don't even remember buying them to be honest! I think I just paid $10 or so when they were priced a few satoshi each.
logged into my account at the start of the year and was very pleased to see that my stash had grown in value substantially, had around 2 BTC worth!
I sold of a good few as I had no way of knowing whether they were just going to become worthless, and couldn't afford to take the risk (at the time - needed money for bills etc).
Now I have about 500 left - I am going to hang onto them for now, but should I be investing in more? Anyone who is not affiliated able to give me an appraisal of this BATA coin's potential in the future?

BATA has been the target for double-spend attacks, Pump and Dump trading by unaffiliated groups, and slander campaigns for quite a few months.
I have been a long-term investor and miner and only recently joined the development team. Lot's of exciting things will be released in due time over the next few years! Hang on to your holdings...

To me it sounds like you answered your own question. You were able to make a $10 investment into 2 Bitcoin.

Imagine what that $10 investment would have been in the future if you did not sell.

As an outside investor, I consider bata to be a high risk, very high reward investment. Worth it to me, I see a lot of hidden potential here. But as with any investment you have to ask yourself if you can afford to take the risk (never invest anything you cant afford to lose) and whether or not doing so is worth it to you.

Facts:

1. This project dead for years no updates
2. Dev sold 500.000 coins
3. Dev is hyping together with some double accounts like yourself
4. He is good friends with Richard Hein the guy who says he is talking with satoshi in real life schizo
5. No real updates have been made only hyping about development but no product at all
6. Price dropped from 40.000 sat to under 10.000 sat

I'm here to prevent good people for falling into this scam

Show the world some proof of an actual update I only see big talk to hype up price;)

Just a quick update on the next release Bata Core 0.10.5.1.

We are successfully testing on 3 platforms Linux, Windows, and Mac. 

I am currently going through the motions of compiling and testing on Arm64 platform (Raspberry Pi 3). 

If there is any interest, I have a couple Raspberry Pi 2 (32 bit) to test on if requested.
