I was going to post this in Off-topic, but those threads have nothing at all to do with bitcoin (and this thread does, in an obscure sort of way).
OK. I'll be applying for a vanity license plate next week for my new (pre-owned) truck, and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions. I'd like the theme to be either bitcoin or Bitcoin Penny. I'm limited to seven characters (letters and/or numbers). Obviously, BITCOIN is a good option. Unfortunately, here in SC, we don't have an online checker to see if any particular license plate is in use already. So I get three choices on my application, and hope that at least one choice is available.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Christopher

I would personally avoid advertising your involvement in bitcoin to that degree publicly like that. Advertising that you have large amounts of bitcoin and/or that you are involved in bitcoin will make you a target for hacks and thefts.
Advertising that you are involved in bitcoin is similar to advertising the fact that you have large amounts of cash in your house

How about BTC POOR? Me haha that might work. However people tend to target others who they can tell are somehow involved in bitcoin as even a few hundred dollars worth of bitcoin can be profitable for an attacker targeting a bitcoin user specifically verses trying to distribute malware to potentially hundreds or thousands (or more) of people before they even reach someone who has any bitcoin at all

Why don't you try BITCOIN as your first choice and then this As your second choice, and this As your third.

Ooh. That is a good one. I think I might get that as my number plate when I can drive. Although my parents/friends would think I am a nerd... :/
