this project has a big volume, but why there is a dump

um...
Well, there was this thing called Helium that was announced and ......ahhh, come to think of it... nm.

so.... when did you wake up there, Rip Van Winkle?

I wonder if the apparently increasing tendency to not read up-thread is a consequence of increasing numptiness or is merely a consequence of the limited screen real estate on fondleslabs seriously impairing the UI of a web app designed for desktops (c.f. bitcointalk's SimpleMachinesForum implementation)

Cheers

Graham

I think it is a result of lack of moderation. After the first page or so, most threads on BTCT are a waste of time.

fondleslabs...now thats just brilliant, LMAO!
I confess... never heard that one and I had to google the poetic sounding "numptiness" tbh  (shoulda known from context)...
Will be adding those to my "cheeky bugger" arsenal, (if you don't mind of course)

And yes, being a pc desktop old schooler myself for the simple reason of ample real estate for web page UI,
and hating "fondleslabs" for lack of it, your point is well taken.

OTOH, lack of moderation can sometimes (not always mind you) result in some truly entertaining reading
for easily amused folks like me...

"El Reg" tends to use the term exclusively related to tablets... But I guess this same term is equally good to use on smartphones (even better - as nowadays I see people love to cuddle and fondle their phones much more than tablets)

Btw... there is even less real-estate on phones, so if someone uses phone to read forum, he/she might not be able to even see his own message if its too long - hence (finally I found the reason!! Shocked) the posts are becoming shorter and shorter here on BCT!!  Grin

Yep, have seen a lot of examples of this the past few days. People deliberately setting sell walls of 30k-50k and moving them down gradually to push down the price. A lot of stuff around this coin is seeming to happen out of spite, regarding the split. Bad blood, vendetta, call it what you want. Why else would some people buy away a buywall of 31k coins around 7k? What person in his right mind would sell for such an amount at rock bottom?

You mean sell wall not buy wall, and I agree. Rather shitty and shady tactics. I'm holding on my SPR for awhile. Hoping for at least some news or a pump in the future once the BTC hard fork bullshit passes over. I hold about 1200 SPR which is now too cheap to even bother selling

its neither ...

its just the way the market reacts to less than average amount of releases in a period of time ...

i should know - some of our coins are the same ...

lack of updates and development plays a massive part in it all - and it really is up to georgem to do something about it ... as it is up to us for some of our coins as well ...

the difference is - that georgem has one coin to deal with and develop while ChainWorks Industries has 5coins and a volley of other projects including the entire backend infrastructure to grow and maintain ... so it will be interesting to see what georgem actually has in store ...

which ever way this coin goes - its become a classic in my books ...
