well, there aren't many pastes yet so I'm pretty sure most came from these forums, though in these instances no referrer is even given. And they didn't visit any specific paste pages. it's just funny, that's all. Oh, and there's one visit from a very large investment management company  |

As being part of the United States Marine Corps, I know most computers that are connected to the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet or nmic will show up with that being listed there all routed through there for security purposes. They could be in japan or where ever. Could be some Seaman or Marine just browsing along while there at work... Which happens 65% of the time when there aint shit to do lol.

I don't think the new window/tab thing has any bearing on it, but no referrer is passed because bitcointalk.org is an https:// site and SSL disables referrers. |

WTF, interesting tag I never knew about. Also really annoying. It's useful for linking to another BitcoinTalk thread, because I hate it when Firefox has 20+ BitcoinTalk tabs open at any time. I've used it for a while for non-outgoing links, and nobody seems to have noticed. Also, it's probably not necessary, but I've used it for links to an anchor too (just to make sure it doesn't break). |

Anybody who's capable of reading a webpage source code can verify that that's the case. I've also amassed a slew of email addresses via those who have registered and will not even consider using any of that information during my so-called train wreck investigations. I do know how to set up landing pages, and could easily put up a few related to Bitcoin, having a said tracking device in place to mine for info, but that would be too easy, choosing to continue my investigations the old fashion hard way--one fucked up link at a time. ~Bruno~
