Scam Accusation against user: lophie "SOLVED" (More or less)

I'm cyclops, user of this forum for a few years now, used to trading with members here and with an, until now, impecable reputation. I am writing this Scam accusation regarding another Hero Member of the forum: lophie (Profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=62227)

What happened::
This user has a thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=941771.0 advertising as a developer for hire.
So to keep it simple and short, on April the 13th I contracted his services after discussing via Skype the rate, and timeframe for a developing job (Accounting app). It all came to 7 days and 100$ as you can see in the above thread.

Now nearly a month later no software has been delivered and I have not received any communication from this user since April the 26 when he said:

Me: Updates? This is taking longer than expected...

Him: Yes,  I am so sorry. Unexpected events happened for me in real life, My laptop screen broke and it stopped me from working for a couple of days. I understand your frustration and appreciate your patience.

After that I sent three messages, on the 3rd, 4th and 6th of May. No response was received even though the user has connected during these days and posted on the forum as you can see in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=950714.840

He has both my email and Skype and has not bothered to reply by any means to me.

I can provide proof of everything, Skype chats, emails, PM's...


I am now demanding the immediate repayment of the 100$, exactly 0.443 Bitcoins, that I sen't him as a payment for his services, I do not longer want the software (which I doubt he has even started developing) as this user is not trustworthy to me.


(I have left negative trust on his profile, will decide what to do once this user has repaid what he owes)

But I will not remove my negative feedback from the user lophie, for the following reasons:
- His lack of interest on the matter, he has not tried to work things out but instead acted in an arrogant way.
- No response, explanation, was given even though he promised one. To this point I don't know why he did what he did.
- The payment has been received from another user "Sakarias-Corporation" who has showed more interest in resolving this matter than lophie (who has worked for him). As Sakarias has told me, the money comes from a pay that was due to lophie for his work. Almost all my communication regarding payment updates have gone through this user who I believe has better ways of contacting lophie than me.

I highly recommend that you do not trade with lophie, he has showed himself as an user who can't be trusted, the way this situation has been resolved is really sketchy. And as final recommendation, use Escrow.

And thats your argument against this accusation? Are you going to pay him the 100$ back or not, simply as that. Why does he need to provide the chats if he already proved that he paid you?

If so I bet on cyclops. If there was really damning evidence in lophie's logs he would have posted them himself since both parties have them. He didn't so there's not and he's just stalling some more most likely.

Yep, as you can see in his thread(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=941771.0) he even confirmed the payment.

P.S. I have received PM's from other users stating other suspicious activities from this user, will update once I have more proof.

I am not avoiding you. I just need you to be honest with the public with all the information not just selected stuff and rage pms and slandering businesses of my friends. Did you even do your research about my involvement in their businesses before you harm their businesses or the likes of you do this in real life as well?

As I said. I will respond accordingly when the information are public, which are now. So expect a proper response to you in the very near future. Mean while you can look in the mirror and evaluate what you did to a poor old man in south america with a heart condition seeing his grandson flipout about his new upcoming business because someone slandered his business because of a distant friend he asked for a technical advice from.

I do not think lophie is a dishonest person, he is an active user here in the forum and he appears a good and legit 'user' so I think this is only a misunderstanding... and all this situation will be resolved (also privately, without all this public scene ).

Also It's not good to take someone's money,make him wait for a month and call him asshole just because he needs his money back. Anyways now if you are willing to close this case, you should refund his money as soon as possible as he clearly stated that he just need his money back not a professional response.

@lophie: Skip the current part and please respond properly. You are worsening this which can be solved easily. If cyclops said anything wrong, point it. This looks like you can't go forward with this deal, do it is better to refund cyclops.
