IMO, Bitgold it's not a service developed just to let people open accounts and redeem 10$. You can use that platform to buy and sell gold... so they need to verify your ID.
Without the verification, people would open new accounts with fake information just to claim that 0.25g in gold.

*Anyway, BTC is better. haha*

At end of June, Bitgold started to accept US residents users. If you register from a user promotional "referal" link you will receive some Gold 0.25 gr normaly (but up to 0.50 gr in few countries and 0.025 in others).

I signed up for bitgold and it was nice but then I noticed they do not allow USA members to send or receive payments. I am now looking to just cashout.

I supose that in few weeks will allow the us citizens to send and receive gold. Two weeks ago, they didn't allow us users to open an account. And now, they can open it but they can't send and receive gold.

0.25 g gold only for Usa country for other country ypu will get 0.025 g gold

I don't have a list of all the rewards:

Japan, Germany receive 0.50 grams
USA, Canada and most european countries receive 0.25 grams.

It's nice how you have a "Head Office", but of course you don't give the exact address, neither for your "Bitcoin Store", ie. no address or unit number.

The redemption amount is quite less as one can earn $25 with just 2 referrals 0.5g gold. I will try it today and hope that the site is legit.

Only If their id's are valid will you get anything.
I have hard time seeing the majority of people getting validated to receive their referral bonus because most countries are not listed as acceptable. So they send in their id and not get accepted.

Did they not raise it alittle while ago to 0.5g for you and to your referral when they signup and the big if Once they get verified.
It is based on where you live? It should be 0.5g in Canada since they are  Canadian company but someone mentioned that promotional increase is just recognized in Japan and Germany. What do they have that the rest of world doesn't?
