Not saying you're one of them but so many people are buying Heromember's IDs and using them to scam people. That conversation is insane and it proves that no escrows can be 100% reliable. As escrows can be tempted to run away with escrowed money anytime as you can see. I guess we need some automated system which can escrows funds for us. Decentralized escrow machine... In times like that I wish bitcoin had some scam protection build in. |

Yes, because with MultiSig you don't need trusted third party, but people are lazy and don't want to think, they always looking for the easiest way: Using a standard well trusted escrow agent is much easier [than MultiSig]...

Can anybody ever be 100% reliable? Your own family and friends can turn against you especially over money so of course some anonymous stranger on the internet could do the same. With escrows I would only choose to use a long-standing member who is very very active and has lots and lots of previous trades. Very active members tend not to sell their accounts and its the lesser active ones that do, though of course any account could be sold/bought or even hacked so always take that into consideration. |

As for me, I against to be listed in this list. It is absurd to promote in bitcoin community third party escrows when MultiSig exist.
I started my thread with aim to show to the people that with MultiSig transactions they don't need "verified & trusted" third party (bitcoin protocol already gives more higher level of security) and to teach them how it works.
