To those who have asked why we decided on a moderated thread;

We debated this for some time. While a non-moderated thread would be the ideal platform for the launch of HALO, we came to the decision to moderate the PRE-ANN Thread because Bitcointalk.org simply doesn't provide the level of accountability or verification of potentially negative posts/and/or/information being spread within the HALO Community.

 
We've already removed a few of posts from this thread. Not because we are seeking to silence the voice or opinions of members simply because we disagree with their point of view. Rather, we want the HALO Project, and our community, to not include the rampant skepticism and negativity which plagues so many threads on many forums.

The skepticism that is present on many threads is certainly warranted. We have all been victim to the abuses and nefarious activities that have left a bad taste in our mouths wishing cryptocurrency could be something more. Something better. That spirit is what we hope to achieve with HALO.

HALO, is a new beginning.

We have yet to make a decision on whether the [ANN] Topic will be moderated. And if so, what guidelines would be used to moderate posts in determining any take-downs. At this time, the decision has not yet been made.

The HALO Project and Team invite those who want to participate and follow in our discussion as we lead up to launch with constructive and thoughtful posts.

We'll be releasing sneak peeks of information about the HALO Project and soon you'll be introduced to Halo, our Team Heroine.

Today, keep a look out for an addition on the OP post, and in the meantime, have a great morning!
