This is quite correct that who knew bitcoin would have touched $1100 in a month. Those who sold at $400 made profit of $200 per btc. Those who sold at $1100 made $900 profit. But those waited for btc to touch sky, realized truth hard way when btc plunged to ~$250 level.  Thus it is up to holder how much risk is affordable. Better approach would be to get seed money out as quickly as possible then work with pure profit earned. Play safe.

in fact bitcoin holders panic when prices are high, because when prices touched bitcoin predictions that they make, they have 2 options
1. sold on the spot so that when the price of bitcoin down they still benefit. (Play safe)
2. take risks so that when prices rise bitcoin holders benefit maximum or when the price falls they regret not doing option 1. expectations different with reality

Yes it does really matter and we are not going to have our time with bitcoin if doesn't have good price. We are all living by depending with the price of bitcoin that is fluctuating daily. So if ever bitcoin doesn't have value, a sure thing that many of us here are not going to stay here and not going to allocate our time collecting it.

Yes. It gives an impact also. You could bet on bitcoin if it will go up or down. This kind of things have been a good business for traders they love the excitement of whether they will lose or win. The reason why many people were drawn to bitcoin was its ease of transactions and easy usage. However the consequence was that as the user base grew the prices started increasing. Currently the people are more interested in prices and not the transactions - bitcoin is like a trading commodity these days and not just a cyber-currency.

Regular spender does not care much of the volatility of bitcoin and the price itself, only the investors who are very much attach with the price movement by monitoring it regularly and of course we are all happy when the value of bitcoin increase which I believe will continue to happen.

The recent price fall back was not that big, it's an opportunity that was given to us to buy more bitcoins to store for the future.

yes i also observed that bitcoin is more into trading and gambling not the way it should be act as currency, more and more newcomers only buy bitcoin because of its fluctuation maybe its needed to be more adopted into a real use rather than its common used. if more company adopt bitcoin as a payment process for sure we will see much better value.

I think we should differentiate the term price and value, usually, investors are concerned about values and that's why they invest for long term whereas traders are usually dependent on the price and they trade for the short term. When newbie is concerned, he looks for the price movement unless he cares about the revolutionary technology.

They just need to store it somewhere and get back on it again and sell it on higher price.
