What? Obviously it's in doubt if it's real or not. But it's a real story nonetheless, which is on CNN. Journalists...
Hacker has Romney's tax returns: maybe, possibly hoax.
Hacker asks Romney or Obama to send him bitcoins to withold/release tax return he might have: fact.
So it is a fact that somebody is trying to use bitcoins to scam Romney/Obama/anybody interested in the tax returns.
I'm pretty sure I can come up with a Conspiracy Theory to dispute that:

How about this is actually bitinstant trying to get attention to it's business and bitcoin, They hold no hope to ever see those mil usd worth of btc but have received alot of coins from somebody and looking to get a really good markup price.
Also this ties in with the secret September announcement and possible the manipulator.
