as far as i know no, there are users that can accept other forms, of payments, but what's the point of doing that here, we are in a bitcoin forum it's better to deal with bitcoin and promote it, also paypal isn't well viewed here

You really give loans through Paypal?  
It is pretty easy to scam you because such methods are not allowed. Look a the term of Paypal.

I give loans elsewhere, but only through Paypal. Is that an option here or is btc the only route? If it is, would any of you fair people happen to know some people who would be up for that? I'm asking because I'd like to gain new clients. Both short term and long. Appreciate any help, thanks.

You will want to use escrow I think. There are a LOT of scams here and you might find that most of your clients are trying to steal from you. Sadly.

I think you should go to Lending board. There are a lot of related info there! BTW, if you want to request a loan, you should be caredul and include legit collateral otherwise you will be given negative trust!
