I [think/predict/know] that bitcoin price will [rise/fall] and will settle in the $[23,000] price range in the next [5 years].  Looking at [insert some random reason] and [insert some random news story] I know I'm right.

Thanks to MF Doom for template, saved me a bit of work  Tongue

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Thanks for pointing out MF Doom's template, it will come in real handy. People are already using it to make excellent predictions like the one in this quoted post.

I know that bitcoin price will rise and will settle in the $bijillion price range in the next month.  Looking at Natalie Portman's underwear I know I'm right.

In case anyone wants to quickly find the original template here it is.

Attention all price predictors! This thread template will save you a lot of time for your next price prediction thread.  Simply copy & past and fill in the blanks!

I [think/predict/know] that bitcoin price will [rise/fall] and will settle in the $[xxx] price range in the next [insert time frame].  Looking at [insert some random reason] and [insert some random news story] I know I'm right.

Feel free to insert random charts and draw green and red lines on it to prove your point!

it might be true that the forum would lose lots of activity when sig campaigns stop exist, but then it would function as pure bitcoin discussion forum. like it was in the early years. i have been reading through the 2009-2012 threads, they are massively different.

Someone could make a bitcoin doom story generator and sell to the bears trolls from the forum.

Would save them lots of time

(if they haven't done it yet)...

Conversely, someone should write a lame butthurt reply generator and sell it to the bulls Smiley

As a matter of fact, I've just incorporated my software company, BBBBB (Bawwing Butthurt Bull Bot, Belize) in Belize & am floating IPO sharez on Havelock.

Don't miss the boat, Brewins. Buy now or baww later Smiley

I think the fact bulls post from a primary account, whereas bears seem to use throwaways speaks volumes.

Why is that do you think?

Hmm...  Perhaps they're afraid of being laughed at, like maybe they've bought at the top of the bubble when they joined this forum, and bragged about it?
Something like this?

Bears back to caves. I bought on localbitcoins in the UK near the (hopefully) bottom.

Just guessing here Undecided

It was a rhetorical question. But it was a poke aimed directly at you I can't blame you for trying to deflect the point.

I have posted innumerable times about buying coins in early 2013, at least twice directly to you, so I am surprised you keep posting that out of context knowing full well what you are alluding is wrong.

Pretty weak stuff from you, but I don't expect anything less from someone unable to post from either their primary account or numerous alts because they have been banned for child pornography violations. Or is it posting gay sex pictures, or just being a generally untrustworthy and dishonest individual that forum members would literally pay money to expose.

The original point being of course that the only reason the bearish troll threads are started by activity zero accounts is you have no other choice! Well done to the mods I say!

Zero or hero there will be no middle ground.

it's funny because the current price it begs to differ, there is still a little chance that we won't see either, no falling nor increasing

yeah of course look at the forum is full of users with a sig, there must be a reason, none here is doing it for free

It will go down thanks to 21INC. They will provide easy mining options to the masses. Which will decrease the price due to amount of miners.

How in hell is this relevant? And i don't think what 21inc is planning for will make the regular joe get a decent amount of BTC enough to have an impact on the market.
In any case, the halvings will take care of that guaranteeing dumping of mined coins is not a problem for the price.

...

Your account registered on Nov. 2013. The quoted text is the first verifiable claim you've made. No sane person knowing anything about bitcoin could have possibly bought the bubble. Most of us may have cashed out a bit too early in hindsight, but buying after the collapse?
Only rubes & n00bs.

Now I'm gonna go ahead and pretend that you didn't just lie to me about buying before the bubble. I'm not petty.
Consider it forgotten. Never to be brought up again.
It's as if you didn't even try lying to me.
I remember nothing.

To further spare you from entangling yourself in your hodgepodge garbageheap of lies, i'll preemptively tell you that you can forget about hoping to convince me you've also sold the 10k BTC pizza.
I won't believe you.

Do understand that I'm not being calloused and uncaring. I care, I really do. Here's the thing tho:
If I allowed myself to feel, to open myself to just a teeny fraction of the crushing, abysmal defeat and humiliation you're living right now, my [cold, tiny] heart would simply break (and that would hurt) Sad

Ignoring the wall of crap you wrote back, I would have thought that the person creating endless sock puppet spam accounts would know more than anyone that the date of joining this forum != buying any bitcoins. You have hundreds of accounts and own none!

Anyway back to your illegal child porn  Wink

I know that bitcoin price will rise&fall and eventually will settle in the $2,300 price range in the next 15 years.  Looking at how things usually  move with new technology and considering all the fuzz about, New York Stock Exchange Launches Bitcoin Price Index. I know I'm soo right.
