Last I knew, it's been many years that Amazon hasn't let you buy Amazon gift cards with your own Amazon gift balance. Has that changed? /tests it out, can't figure out how to do it with a saved Amazon credit card selected by default

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

No, as far as I know, they do not allow you to buy a new gift card with current gift balance.

They will not allow you to do it even without a credit card attached to your account. It is probably one way that they prevent people from laundering money through stolen credit cards on amazon.

If you have Amazon CC rewards points, you CAN buy a gift card with those. But that's not what the screenshot is of.
