Hello everyone, I am "Hobbit" from BitYes, Huobi's BTC-USD exchange. BitYes will raise a bitcoin related fun topic each week and award 0.05BTC for the best answer we pick! Please speak out your fun or useful ideas.

Today's topic is How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? What's their feedback after your introduction? Though bitcoin is regarded as a great invention as internet, a minority of people know and accept it. As a bitcoiner, have you ever recommended Bitcoin to your friends? How many of your friends accept Bitcoin in the end?

Please share with us and let's know your extraordinary experience with Bitcoin! We will pick the best answer by 29th of May.

How are you going to recommend it to your friends and family? And could you share with us how did your friend recommend it to you?

Oh, that's pretty upset. It's 50% to see Bitcoin gain a hugely success. So you can try to recommend your friends to invest 10% of their money to bitcoin. Bitcoin is an epochal achievement and it's the best time to invest. Tongue

Well I can't actually be certain of the exact number. This is because I've mentioned it to some, to some I've told a story in regards to it and I've discussed some aspects with a few friends.
Actually only 2 really endorsed it, although 1 more likes the concept but doesn't use a computer that's capable of that. He would rather like to stay away from all the tech.

First of all, no one is recommened me to use bitcoin as well as cryptocurrency. I came to lnow about this by some PTC websites. And secondly, i recommeneded/invited all my friends to bitcoin/cc world, but sadly no one is interested and if started to talk about this they saw me as an alien, am i? Sad and still no one knows about BTC and none of my friends using now..

Probably I would say none of them ended up a bitcoiner. Closest I did get would say, some of them do try it out, earning through faucet but eventually when you tell them faucets is just a waste of time, they seem to lose interest. They don't really bother telling me the reason why but I guess they treat bitcoin more like a game or online token rather than taking it as seriously as a money.

ofc i talk to all of my friends and family about it, but in the end nobody of  them seems to be really interested on it, seems like they dont understand it or "havent time" to check it.

one of the common questions they ask is: ¿how many money are you winning with it?

when i answer them that im not getting rich with it, im only trying to be ready for the "future", they loss all his poor interest.

another questions they ask to me is about the "legal" situation, and again, they dont understand it when i try to explain them how is going on.

They don't really bother telling me the reason why but I guess they treat bitcoin more like a game or online token rather than taking it as seriously as a money.

yes something like that too.

also i come a bitcoiner from a friend, he start to talk to me about it some time ago, took me 2 minutes to realize that this is something awesome Smiley, and took me 2 minutes more to hate myselft because i didnt discover it before Tongue

IMHO #1.b of suspects, Hal Finney is/was S.N.

I recommended Bitcoin to several friends but very few of them were showing willingness to know more about Bitcoin and few of them begin to start use Bitcoin.I still recommend Bitcoin to everyone I know and whenever and wherever is possible I create awareness about Bitcoin in my circle of people.

0 so far, they're not that interested though. Because I don't wanna be blamed for recommending non-potential investment to them, if Bitcoin achieve nothing.

Well, to all people that didn't know about it they don't like the idea of a money that is "internet based" and without regulation.
There is also some people that read by themselves and even this way they don't like, and some other people that liked the idea made some questions since I use BTC.

yes... some of my non-technical acquaintances still see it just as some kind of play money and found it funny when it raised so much in value. The more technical ones often have a blog, and they posted an address on it now to receive donations.

This might sound a bit trivial, but I actually count them. I call them <The Coverted>
Up to date, I have counted 53 people converted to buying Bitcoin or owning some. My best period was when the price was just below $1000/BTC - Since then, a lot of people lost faith <About 13 people>
I do however find that the people who bought before the spike in price, was the people who held on the longest.
They are also more active and still buy BTC frequently.

Easy questions to answer. How many did I tell? All of them-more than 75 people. How many of them accepted it as more than a scam and use it? None of them. Several people avoid me now. I guess I talked about it a little too much.

I avoid talking too much about it, I usually just try to explain the basics, sadly most people find it hard to comprehend.

Most of them follow authoritative figures who do not have information about btc other than the misleading mainstream media narrative.

I have given away some btc among my friends, some started to use it to buy stuff online, some buy it yearly since I have introduced them, but the majority still can't even comprehend what is bitcoin/why it would be good for them, and I think they do not even recognize the issues with fiat based systems.

Well, I tried telling how bitcoin works to some of my friends. They seem to be amazed at how things work for bitcoin and I even showed them some of my conversions of fiat to bitcoin and vice-versa, and that really hit them, but apparently, most of my friends are too lazy to pursue knowledge about bitcoins and are contented to what fiat can do to them. I ended up having one friend using bitcoins and he is joining several discussions here in the forum too.
