I haven't quite yet figured out how to yet but in my 2 minutes of research it looks pretty simple! We couldn't be happier! The bitcoin community is awesome and I'm pretty excited to use the blockchain to record the event and our agreements once we get those completed!

We're days away from the celebration!

Thanks for everything, bitcoiners!

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I haven't quite yet figured out how to yet but in my 2 minutes of research it looks pretty simple!

It's simple enough. First, get in the WoT. Then, submit a deed.

Why is the first step necessary? Because recording something like a marriage contract without also binding it to people, is pointless. That's where the WoT comes in. This would be unprecedented, if you did it. I'm not even sure what the contract should be. Should the groom and father of the bride both sign it? You could use it to publicly declare the dowry or something.

Marriage is a permanent bond (or should be) between a man and a woman. Scripture reveals a man has the freedom to have this marriage bond with more than one woman, if he so desires. But, anything beyond this is a perversion. -- Darwin Fish

How do you want to record your marriage with the blockchain???

It's actually been done before, so OP is no pioneer (assuming he isn't trolling). Here you can see what it was about in he latest part of the video:

Have you considered using a Bitcoin wedding/engagement ring? TheBTCRing.com
as seen on Engadget http://www.engadget.com/2015/05/21/a-bitcoin-engagement-ring/

Made for the Coinbase Bithack. Yes, this project is serious!

I haven't quite yet figured out how to yet but in my 2 minutes of research it looks pretty simple! We couldn't be happier! The bitcoin community is awesome and I'm pretty excited to use the blockchain to record the event and our agreements once we get those completed!

I hope you divorce soon, and that your kids are ugly and retarded if you have any. I'll write it on the blockchain just after the record of your marriage.
Please, don't forget the blockchain wasn't designed for this purpose. Just joking...

Far from it, I'm just a guy against centralization, and government's blessing and control. This is what marriage is. Now, I don't like it much when people wants to use the blockchain for things it wasn't designed for.

I wish the OP to be happy with his girl outside of marriage.

A bit harsh don't you think dear?

Congratulations to the newlyweds!  If I ever get married I will definitely consider this sort of wedding as one of the options.

Congratulations OP, and I will definitely give the article a read later!

Stateless weddings and contracts in general are going to be the future, IMHO. Although I am divorced and have no desire to remarry, if and when I do this is the way I would pursue it.
