It was 12USD on MtGox IIRC
I was very confused if Bitcoin was really going anywhere so I bought none, just got a few cents trough a few faucets and a good and old service of "watch the video ad and get a bitcoin". Well, it was kind of worth, since the price raised up a lot in a few months.

And you still sit with a newbie account.

OP, I first paid $230 then I brought more in the following weeks $150-$100, would have been nice to be an early adopter but I won't complain it could have been worse like for some who paid $1000+

At first i heard bitcoin around 2011, but i never looked at the price at this time. Then the next time around early 2013 i read again about bitcoin in the local news, there the price was around 80 Euro and i plan to buy some bitcoins, but i dont know how i can do that and after a few days it seemed too difficult for me and i forgot about bitcoin again. Then i bought finally at a price around 800 Dollar.  Lips sealed

But i bet for 99% that in 5 years around 2020 people are asking here in the froum, why i dont bought bitcoins when the price was under 5 digits and ask the same questions.  Grin

Hello, people! Grin

Do you remember price of Bitcoin when you heard about BTC at first in your life?

I knew bitcoin on 2014 April , If I'm not mistaken the price still $ 300 / btc . On that time I'm still noob so I must learn how to earn and use it.
Still regret everyday because if only i knew bitcoin earlier  Tongue

Think the first time I heard of bitcoin it was £30-40. I bought my first coins at somewhere between 60-70 I believe.

zero..2009

yes same here. First time heard about it was decribed as something without value, more like tokens give to eachothers for favors, like programming scrypts and those kinda things. I was never talked about that it whould be 10000 dollars one day. It was always described as something different that money and they could not be compared.

it seems most of us arrived to the party kinda little late, which is a shame!

there will be plenty of extra party in the future, rest assured, unless you think that bitcoin is going to hold this price forever without rising even a little

we have already faced two good rise, the first in 2011, when it rised by x25, the price was still low yes, but it was far more easy to acquire bitcoin in that year, and then the notorious 1200 from 2013

I agree Don't be fooled into thinking that if you didn't get in on the $250/BTC you're not an early adopter. BTC is still an infant. Compared to the world's currency
