12$ in 2013 I guess I heard about it a couple of times, but never actually cared to investigate it any further. I always assumed it to be some nerd-money.

It was 12USD on MtGox IIRC
I was very confused if Bitcoin was really going anywhere so I bought none, just got a few cents trough a few faucets and a good and old service of "watch the video ad and get a bitcoin". Well, it was kind of worth, since the price raised up a lot in a few months.

So many people were like this at the beginning. Thye saw and remember seeing it for the first time at ridiculously low prices, but got overwhelmed by it.
If right now it can be a big hassle trying to buy some BTC, imagine back in the early MtGox days.

Heard about it in 2013 around $30 but didn't take it seriously until  2014.
I wish I have taken it seriously and bought some bitcoin back then lol.

It was around 40$ and I think it was 2013. I wish I bought at that time. When I first buy Bitcoin it was 120$ something.

When the first time I heard it, which is in 2012. Actually, I don't really know the price
But I remember in 2013, when it was $1000.
And then I started to use Bitcoin, in 2014 when the price was around $600

faucet used to be profitable

I'm not sure of the price when I first heard of bitcoin, but when I first decided to take it seriously it was around $600+ IIRC.

Christopher

This was me too.  It still wouldn't have been getting in early as I would have liked but I still wish I bought in the first time I heard about it.

about 80$  in 2013 ,but unfortunately I didn't took it seriously. but I feel like Bitcoin and cryptos are like Web 5.0 or 6.0. Something Revolutionary.

Ummm I think that it was about $40-50 in 2013 when I first heard of it.

Obviously I had no idea at the time that it would grow to be so expensive, but as time has passed I've come to accept that.

I didn't actually purchase any BTC until it hit around $500 late 2013.

Hello, people! Grin

Do you remember price of Bitcoin when you heard about BTC at first in your life?

Yes I remember it was around $40 but I never got in and brought any half decent amount until $100 as it took me awhile to get to know it and trust.

I first heard about Bitcoin during the first Mt.Gox bubble, when Bitcoin reached $30.

However I didn't get in that early. Those were crazy times. Smiley

Bought in at like 30$... used them all up @ bitmit. One month later it hit 1000$. I curled up in a ball and cried myself to sleep. When I awoke the next day I made a deal with bitcoin satan and up to this day everything went good. Didn't make the same mistake twice. If there's one good thing in this word to sell one's soul for, it's bitcoin.

(I get one satoshi every time I advocate satan.)
