Hello,

I have a question. I bought 1000 ghs for mining btc. I see that even with the difficulty which go down I earn less than with the previous difficulty. So it is normal that when the difficulty go high the earnings go down but it is normal that the earnings go down when the difficulty go down?

Thanks

You should earn more with the lower difficulty. Check if you miners average hashrate. Maybe it's overheating? Mining pool luck, etc.?

It is cloud mining with cloudminr.io. It is normal this but I wanted to ask. Seems that I earn less but the payout is the next sunday. Anyhow thanks. Seems that I had to do with scamers.

it could be because of bad pool luck, it happen sometimes, check if they have something about that, if they display it

i've used only the free 100 giga with them(plus re-investing with the reward), but i can clearly see that you are right, my earning is not what the calculator say but about 19% less

it does look like a scam....

Maybe the bud luck maybe scam. But the bad luck don't last always. With time will be cleared. Thanks for the answer.

What are the others parameters? I am telling with the same ghs. I don't know which can be the other parameters.

Look at a difficulty chart. It's gone down a few times. In fact, the last change was -2.5%!

Always use escrow. OgNasty is pretty sweet.

Luck is a considerable parameter.
What  I have seen happen in pools is that bitcoin blocks are discovered in booms (lots of blocks are solved in close succession) and rarity (hardly any block is solved for some time) even though the mining speed and difficulty remain constant. Usually after a streak of bad luck comes a period when lots of blocks are solved in close succession. Thats why there are pool hopping measures in place.

Thanks for the explanations. But yet it was not released a date for the release in the market of the new 16nm. This date is important to know...

when difficulty go down you earn more bitcoin with your mining hardware but in most case price of bitcoin also drop if difficulty drops so your profit in fiat will be same or lower.

@ n2004al In regards to your question earnings will indeed go up but depending on how much the difficulty has gone down if it goes down by 1 or 2% you might see a small increase in earnings most will be gobbled up by bigger miners. Will also depend on what amount of equipment you have and how much energy is being used and experiences  etc is throw away.
With questions to KNC they already have the tech and are mining with it I doubt will see a price tag on equipment anytime soon until they made RIO back and then sell miners afterwards to customers to make next to no profit for their next projects. KNC already been scam in past and broke promises and much more now no options to buy anything and no doubt will be pre order BS. Only company I trust is Bitmain with their ant miners if they come out with the tech  them selfs using 16nm chips then so be it maybe buy. Right now is better to just buy bitcoin with CASH and save for later.
