Wanted to know how greedy people actually are , I'am personally not into gambling with the real meaning to be honest
however I see a lot of my friends says "im stupid" and stuff like that , because they start earning a lot on the begining then they get greedy and lose basically all , does it happen to you ?

in general 99.99% gamblers are greedy so it is hard to find where we stand, basic question is where to stop when we are on winning and the answer is very hard to stop because of our greedy behavior, on many gambling i get started with low amount and get into big amount sometime i get withdraw and sometime i lose.

Gambling should be done for fun and exitement with the option to win some money while knowing that the odds are against you.
People who gamble should always be aware that what they're doing isn't a long term money maker. Especially if they play games where it seems like you can realistically have odds(PvP games,sportsbetting) a large number of people seems to think that the odds are in their favor because they think they are such good players even though the average house edges are way higher than in games like dice and the number of people who win money in the long run is incredibly small.

Most of the times you wont stop when you are winning and if you lose lets say 1/4 of what you won, you will start to bet even more to try to recover and eventually lose.

Even if you quit when you are ahead, you will probably come back later and it will be the same thing. Lets be honest there is no one that went to a casino made a few bets, won and stopped FOREVER. That just doesnt happen, if you go to a casino is to win a lot of money not to make little profit, you either go big or you lose.

I'm not trying to say that it's impossible to make money from skill- & luckbased games. But that can mathematically only work for a very small percentage of people and causes a large percentage of people to believe that the odds are in their favor and they're due for wins.

I gamble for fun some times but I'm not greedy.
Usually I send 10$ to casinos etc; if I win I withdraw, if I loose I'm out.

yes, gambling on dice is genrally not profitable in the long run, but in more predictable gambling such as sports betting, it can be profitable with hadicapping. It can also be profitable in the long run for more skill based gambling like poker, ive seen people at (real life) casinos that practically live there.

I am greedy.  That is why I gamble for only small amounts.  If you want money gambling is about the dumbest thing you can do because if you don't stop the house will eventually win.

To the OP I would ignore the people who tell you to gamble for money.  Gamble because it is fun, exciting, and great entertainment (the best in my mind) but not for money as it has negative expected value.

Small amount for 3 specific games. I don't like betting on the same balls. Betting on 3 or more balls are better than one. If lucky I can hit all balls.

At the first, I don't like gambling.
But once I know bitcoin, I have no idea how can I like gambling. And yes for a certain time, it give me joy of winnings.
Because my greedy, I'm loss at the end. But I've learned those experienced for stop being greedy for gambling and I'm glad I'm not too addicted on it

I look at gambling as pure entertainment.  If I want to have some fun I spend the same amount of money for the day that I would spend going to the movies or on a date.  If I lose this much I am done, but I am pretty conservative so I don't usually lose even that much.  If you try to make money gambling, maybe you will be one of the lucky ones but chances are you will not.  You will usually lose.  Make it fun and don't bet your shirt.  Unless you got nice abs that is

I am greedy enough to gamble - now and then. I think that gambling feeds the greed somehow. If I would be smarter I'd use that time to work and actually earn money.
Also fortunately I am not rich enough and I use to play with pennies, most of the time not even with my own money.
The feeling is good when you are on a winning streak, but that can never last. So yeah, I mostly lose

First of all we need to distinguish between greed and laziness.There are very few occasion when I was really greedy but most of the time I was lazy and could not take right decision and lost a lot of potential profit what I could have from many things.Timing is also very important to take some quick decision.We all are greedy enough in everything.

You can gamble for fun without being greedy, but if you're just playing to win or make profit quickly then you'll likely spiral out of control very quickly and end up in the red losing most of your cash. I think with most vices gambling is about moderation.
