How greedy you are ?

I am betting on sports, small amounts only. If I win I take it, if I lost I stop for some time. In the past it was not like that I often try to put counter bet to win back what I lost and this "strategy" put me in red numbers in sport betting.

There is no any different I think then. We can stop play poker or dice too if we lost. Every greedy gamblers want to recover their losing money no matter what kind of gambling they get in. So, if they lost in sport gambling, they will try to recover it in next match.

you must do martingale if the bust comes fast and unexpectedly, i used to do it too but i learnt that i either have to play with small sums or play without huge bets

Poker and trading have some pretty good similarities: 80-90% are losers, 10-20% are winners, you need good bankroll management, tilt management and a good strategy.

I have seen some graphs of very good poker players which are sort of a straight line up, everyone has downswings but the best players always win longterm.

however I see a lot of my friends says "im stupid" and stuff like that , because they start earning a lot on the begining then they get greedy and lose basically all , does it happen to you ?

I am also very greedy on gambling always want to win big, because I see other people always win big, so I'm also so always want to win big

It is not about skill or luck but if it is gambling then many people is greedy in gambling. Some people say gambling for fun but they want to get profit as well, no one want to keep losing at a gambling site. That is why almost everyone is greedy when they are playing at a gambling site and it doesnt matter if you have skill or no

yea this is true at the end you will regret that you gambled at the first place

Exactly this is called our greediness! It is not only your issue every human have same problem. The best solution for this just avoid gambling/trading and save your money. Don't ever try to test your greediness, the result of greed is very often serious. Greedy is very big problem in forex business mostly trader want become rich in one day or over night so they end up losses in forex trading.

Well it's in our nature to be greedy a bit i guess. I often start off with a simple martingale, but can't seam to stop when i'm winning.
There's always that "one more bet" that i want to take. But it doesn't turn out bad in every case or roll, sometimes i win a lot more just by making those bets.
None the less, it's important to have a "goal" where you know in advance when you want to stop and cash in on your bets.

in general 99.99% gamblers are greedy so it is hard to find where we stand, basic question is where to stop when we are on winning and the answer is very hard to stop because of our greedy behavior, on many gambling i get started with low amount and get into big amount sometime i get withdraw and sometime i lose.

Yeah i agree with him. Almost 100% gamblers are greedy, want win more beside he already win. And if he lose it will double his bet for win back his hankroll. That's why many gamblers always lose, right he win now/tomorrow but someday he will lose. Being greedy itself not good for gamblers  .

I was greedy and trusted my favorite tennis players, and lost 3btc on them, I started this session with 1btc and I have made it to 3btc, and I was bet on andy murray when he in washington open, and 0.5btc on kevin anderson, and they 2 got beaten by unknown players, I was not happy cause other famous players beat weaker players.
