Yes, we need to realize how to estimate ourselves on emotion controls. Many people fail here and imagine themselves as super human without any emotions. Greedy is not enough situations even after big profits or increasing the bet amount into 10 fold after a win.

Yes we first evaluate ourselves how to control  our emotions then only we can identify the situations of emotions controlling ourselves. Without self analysis we cannot overcome emotion.
In my experience, in gambling there are many possible ways we are losing our emotions and getting greedy or tensed.

I would say I am greedy but I still can make myself stop playing when I am on profit because I know that if I keep playing I will most likely lose.

You got the good character that is most needed for gambling. Because getting greedy is a human nature but analyzing that we are really greedy and stopping it, is most important. Because only with self analysis we can control our emotions either to stop greediness or gambling.

Even after knowing the dangers of gambling, still people are gambling for many reasons. Failing to control our emotions is also human nature but it gives big advantage to gambling houses. I'm also so greedy to start a gambling house.

Apart from controlling emotions many people have a habit of risking things ,even if they control their emotions they risk things.
