You can use Localbitcoins with a escrow and using a trusted buyer/seller, it should be pretty safe. You can even meet the person in real life for ultimate anonimity.

The best online payment method IS bitcoin. So why not just spend it on something you were going to buy anyway? You lose a little money buying BTC, don't lose a little more selling it back.  Wink

You can sell them to someone here. There's plenty of people with good trust rating to choose from.

Just find someone you can trust. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

If you are new to buying on these forums you should think about using an escrow.  There is a list of good ones here.  I have not used them all but the ones I have used have been great.  Just check their trust ratings on their profile.

I would stay away from okcoin, there has been some controversy with them lately.

I don't really like the sites you mentioned, try using an escrow or localbitcoins, it will be a much better experience

One popular method is using LocalBitcoins.com and having the BTC buyer deposit cash into your bank account. That's guaranteed instantly available and non-reversible! LocalBitcoins will escrow your BTC to protect the buyer until you confirm the deposit. From your end it's the same as online, and the buyer just deposits at any bank branch using your account info (Name, Account #, and State).

I did over 70+ trades in LocalBitcoins using Skrill money. I need to keep it SAFE where the PRICE can keep stable.

the marketplace here on bitcointalk is a valid alternative to localbitcoin, but need to deal with "green" members, high trust, or use escrow if you feel still unsecure

you can also deal directly with escrow users, i find this convenient some times

Agree with this, look for a trusted trader, with positive feedback.

From the list, I have used Webmoney. It is convenient, and I believe also irreversible, so its perfect to sell BTC for it. However its not easy to get many sellers for it. You can also look at Neteller as an option, as you can directly convert BTC to Neteller at 0% fee.

i have only used webmoney so far. and i recommend it.
but the best way is to sell to a trusted person, you can find them here in marketplace section.
also if you can find anyone near you, you can do the trade in person and with cash, which the safest way in my opinion.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

If you want to exchange your bitcoins to an irreversible payment method then that would only be cash so if you can find someone locally who wants to purchase your coins, that would be best, just meet at a public place for safety and if possible take someone with you.

I have seen instances where the bank deposits have been reversed and sellers's account seized and funds frozen because the trader filed a compliant that his account was hacked OR because the buyer was actually a middleman in between and he double crossed both the parties. But that being said there are honest traders on this forum as well as LBC, so if you can't trade for cash bank transfer is still safer than the other online payment methods as it is still difficult to charge back.
