Hi all

So to make it quick, I had a account on ghash. (bad idea) and unfortunatly I had to reboot my phone and lost my google authentificator.
I was not able to recover my 2FA code because of that.
So this is where the nightmare start.
I open a ticket on support so they could remove the 2FA so I could make a new one with my new phone.
They ask me a lot of information. balance, gh, last transaction, ip, ........ let me show you.
Username:

CEX.IO BTC wallet address:

User account email:

Account GHS balance (As accurate as possible):

Account BTC balance (As accurate as possible):

Latest transactions (withdrawal or deposit):

Referred by:

Account creation date:

IP address / geographic location:

I answer all of this since I'm able to get into my account. There system is really bad and when you ask a password reset, it make you get in.

So im in ghash.com account and I send them some screenshot and they still doesnt want to remove the 2FA.
They told me remove it from account setting.
The problem is that account setting ask the 2FA code to disable the 2FA system. (for sure)

So they ask me for 2 pictures. One of a driver licence and one of me with the driver licence.
And this is where it get awesome.

I dont want to send them picture since they dont have any picture to compare. When I register on the exchange they didnt ask for a picture. So I dont know what picture will do for them.

After 19 email they still doesn't want to unlock my account.

So any idea what I could do. Any away to recover a old 2FA code. ( I dont have the qr code. screw me)

I have the key that ghash generated when I did the 2FA. Can I crack it to get the 2FA key back ??

Thanks

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.
