I tried to verify on bitstamp, but I dont have any of my bills to my name. I really dont mind providing my ID, but it seems I just cannot easily verify my address. I've been forced to purchase marked-up bitcoins on localbitcoin. Are there any exchanges that deal with the real price that are more lax in verification? Ideally, ID-only.

What country are you in? With bitstamp it is making me thing US. For US exchanges need to follow know your customer laws to not be money launders. So any US one operating legally as a company will need to verify you.

btc-e, if you manage to get money into one of the non-wire options.
But you probably will have to pay high fees

With this I have found you need to jump threw even more hoops and take even longer, I gave up after a week and failed attempts at giving valid ID with a few of them, I did get accepted in the end but lost interest, trust and patience also as you mentioned the high fee's. Don't be in a rush to buy on localbitcoin and you can make an offer which will be very close to the exchange price anyway but have to assume you look for the buy option and hurry a buy, take your time and make a offer. It will save you what you need and giving out more than you want.

Bittrex didn't seem to take too much to set up an account, but it might need more info to fund not sure. It is a good exchange thought, you should check it out.

use exchange that don't need all those stupid verification, kraken and coinimal, for a limited amount, bitfinex to if i'm not mistaken, bit-x also under 500 btc-e, if you manage to get money into one of the non-wire options.
But you probably will have to pay high fees
not to mention waiting for two weeks for you money to arrive, absolutely awfull

I didn't need to with btc-e but haven't used it ina while so it might have changed. What are you wanting to do? Buy or sell or just try make some money trading? If you're just wanting to buy and sell you can always use the currency exchange here and cut out the middle man.

You're gonna need to give up those kind of documents if you plan to withdraw fiat from the exchanges. Otherwise, there is BTCE, Bitfinex. Can't really recommend Okcoin right now with all the stuff coming out about them.

Create buy orrder at reasonable market rate on www.100bit.co.in. They'll be executed fast. No verification needed.

I'd stick with more reputable options than this one -- and there are some options that don't necessarily require verification. If you are patient, you can buy at spot on LBC (usually)...

We only deposit when we trade. Its new, but I believe, worth a try...

I'm using xmlgold.eu and no I'm not affiliated with them. I'm just recommending just to clarify things. Anyways, they require a quick verification of ID with some instructions to prove your legitimacy. At first I was skeptical because IDs can be used for identity theft but I've been with them for 8 months now and I use them to cash out my traded btc using their mastercard. Their prices are fair enough for me. I don't know to anyone else though.
