3$ for 1 year is a pretty damn good deal. why would you even complain about a deal like that? no offense intended to anyone but i can remember paying 5$ for 1 month of service from godaddy so 3$ for a year is a steal IMO

He is just offering a service buddy, he isn't forcing you at all to buy from him. If you get at 0.99$ then there are people who still buy at 10$ and are unaware about promo's for them he is very beneficial.

I don't think GoDaddy accepts Bitcoin as a payment method so I guess this can cater to those who only wish to spend bitcoin on a cheap domain registration.

Will you ID yourself to GoDaddy when we buy a domain from you? Because if you will, paying a couple dollars more just to get rid of all that hassle seems like a good deal to me.
