It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Hi,

I was trying to install Rokos Flavor v8 (as I already did with v6), but it is not booting on my Pi3.
"...No working init found..." is last line when tryiing to boot.
Is there a different setup procedure of the SD card compared to v6? Others have successfully installed v8?

Yes V6 goes to the raspberry Pi 3!
V8 I'll test the day, I expect a new raspberry Pi 3!

How big is your memory card?
How do you install the image on the memory card?
Do you use software?

greetings
Robin

I used the Win32DiskImager to install the .img on a 32 GB memory card. Actually I did it exactly the way as described on the Rokos page and how it worked before for v6...

First you have to format the sd card (with Formatter4.0), then install the image!
If you do not know how it goes look here: https://rokos-flavors.space/burn_sdcard.html

The image is running, I have just successfully installed on a raspberry pi 3!

Probably got the image corrupted while download or while burning it to the microSD.

Please try again and make sure the checksum is correct to ensure it's not corrupted.

Yes the image file was corrupt. Now it worked fine...  Smiley
However it looks very different fom v6. Is there a documentation for the initial setup (network, password, language settings, etc.)?

Rest of settings are pretty easy to change from options/settings/system menu.

maybe someone here wana earn that bounty

there was a dmd diamond foundation decision to go public with testnet
so no invite needed everyone can join

more details about DMDv3 u find in the whitepaper
https://bit.diamonds/DMD_WP_1.0.pdf

timeplan:
now start to make testnet client and access public
08.09 last testnet update with release client
12.09 all exchanges should freeze deposit and withdraw user should do no more transactions
13.09 DMDv2 balance snapshot
15.09 launch of DMDv3 with first 7 days POS & masternode rewards reduced by 99%
so everyone have time set up his masternode and POS wallets without missing rewards

What about Rokos v8? Will there be new version of wallet on 15.09?

not at 15th
we will inform ROKOS team once final release is done
and they will compile a update for ROKOSv8

but basically u or any rokos owner can try compile on its own too
i had no time to spend time with my raspi and im sure i wont find soon

Perhaps it is worth having a bounty for this as well. I can imagine quite a few people will want to have DMD v3 on their RasPI (myself included), to be able to stake 24/7.

but would u trust a compiled wallet by someone?
i wouldnt easy i trust wallet compiled only from people i trust i trust the rokos team but last time we waited long for updatet wallet
u have to understand the guy who compile a wallet could modify the soruce code before he compile ist

so a bounty i can give but not for a compiled wallet but for a guide to compile a wallet

50 DMD bounty for a guide to compile DMDv3 on raspberri PI (ideal based on ROKOv8 )
