Learned my lesson. Cost roughly $250.
That's part of the learning process. I burned myself on the regular stock market. After the Lehman crash my investments lost 70% of their value and $3000 went down the drain. It's one thing to consciously know that investments carry
risks and it's something entirely different to have a
subconscious feeling and understanding of risk: that it's real, it does really happen and how it feels and how it alters your life.
It's the difference between a 19 year old who knows that car accidents happen and someone who has been in one. This realization alters your behavior forever. And $250 was actually a cheap price to pay - as long as you realize that it's not specific to Bitcoins. The same could have happened with USDs, stocks, hedge funds, pension funds, burglary etc.
