I'm optimistic about the future, I imagine it being widely accepted as a method of payment and trading. Because of it's decentralized nature, it's bound to be better accepted, which in turn shall increase the value. I think crypto-currency is highly potent, and is something that will be widely accepted across the globe.

I think it will, eventually, change the world. It may very well be like 5-10 years from today but I believe it will happen. Stay in it for the long haul boys!

But i disagree with you on this bolded part , since no central authority also makes every potential new user sceptical, given the fact that they have noone to turn to in the case of theft or fraud. I believe in decentralisation, but i don't think it's attracting the average Joe, but rather speculators and fast profit seekers. cheers

Average Joe will know that he has to be absolutely sure of security aspects before entering Bitcoin. That is a good thing.

Give it some more thought; many people assume that they have someone to turn to in such cases of abuse, only to find the fact that there isn't anyone who can help them. People are entering bitcoin world without knowing all facts, and when they loose funds for either reason - they feel betrayed, played, hustled. Those people turn their back and don't return, and we don't want that. cheers

And once they have a negative impression about the bitcoin they would spread the same news to their peers or their friends and family that it is not worth to invest in bitcoin as he has gone through losses he will suggest them not to invest in bitcoins as we all know that mouth publicity is the biggest publicity

Yes it can change the world only if it is handled in a proper way. People should make aware about the advantages of bitcoin and should be encouraged to use it more and more then only the value of bitcoin will reach to a next level.

If you go out on the street and ask people "do you know what decentralization is", it's probably 1 in 10 people that would know what it is, let alone in the context of a Bitcoin.

Very shortly. Bitcoin is a great invention. Is the first materialization of peer to peer technology which now is be applied every day more and more in different field of economy replacing the possible old existing technologies. Is an invention, I think, which will know only development. In which way, this remain to be seen. The time of its legality remain too a big interrogation because is seen yet as an concurrent and not as an big positive invention which can revolutionize the world of currencies. I think that bitcoin will be supported always from the technology which invented it so it will no stop and no disappearance of it.
