COPA AMERICA discussion thread

Talking about the competitions it self...who will win and other things!!!

Personaly I think Brazil won't win considering the games against Mexico and Honduras. Maybe Argentina or Colombia.

I also think that Brazil will win on Copa America. Leadership with Neymar Brazil has again a great chance to win on this competition. The biggest rival on this competition for Brazil will be Argentina leadership with Messi. It will be a great match. But, I think that Brazil has a big chance to win in it.

We can't compare Neymar with Messi, I think Neymar have not been ready to be a leader yet, since Brasil still have Thiago Silva. The last match proved that Brazil just played too dependent on Neymar, and if he is not play, we can say Brazil will lost. For tonight, Argentina must show their class as a one of the best team in the world. I bet on Argentina. Hope the defenders don't make any faults again.

Yeah and it make Brazil can't be a best team again since the result of whole team depend on a player. If someday Neymar get injury, Brazil can't do anything like world cup last match against Germany. In Colombia, the ability of team is uneven on all of positions, like Ospina, Zuniga, James, Cuadrado, Falcao, and Bacca.

Brazil are very inconsistent yet can still beat anyone in the world probably 50% of the time.  Argentina are able to put in solid consistent performances like we saw in the world cup.

Great win for Argentina last night, puts them in control of their group now, Aguero header winning the match.
It's not over for Uruguay yet though, all they need to do is beat Paraguay to qualify assuming Argentina beat Jamaica.
Uruguay should be able to defeat Paraguay though, I hope so any way, I bet on them to win the whole thing.

Internation games can be like tight at a high level like this, 2-3 goals per game is probably the most common amount in football.

Neymar is really good in a free position like this, at barca messi out ranks him.  Even though barca have been amazing i think Neymar would be better off at a club where he is the main man.  Perhaps man city, chelsea, PSG.

In Barca there are supporting player to him like Messi, Suarez, Rakitic, etc. But, imo the Brazil player that have same ability is just Oscar. I think the score is 2-1 for Colombia, and surely I will bet on Colombia. The result of this match will show us who the leader of Conmebol is.

I think it'll be close. Brazil haven't been playing their best, but I think they will take it 2-1. Could see a 1-1 draw though. Antyone got any thoughts on the Peru v Venezuela game? Think that could be a draw too.
