I had a pending loan since 2014 and was unable to pay due to some personal reasons, loan amount was 0.002BTC, but recently i got managed to repay the loan since it was too late so i repaid 2.5x of the loan amount (0.005BTC)

after repaying my loan i requested reputed users to remove negative trust or change it to neutral so i can participate in signature campaigns
some of them removed but tomatocage refused to remove.

Why should i have neg trust for loan defaults when i have repaid the loan, i know its was late but i paid 5x of the original loan amount and it was delayed for some personal reasons.

If they want to put a warning on my account then they can add a neutral trust with warning comment about late loan repayment but after i repaid my debt i should allowed to join signature campaigns.

PM the one who gave you that trust, Tomatocage. and he'll decide whether or not to remove that trust.

Yeah maybe you need to PM Tomatocage, hope you catch him on a good day, explain to him, tell him you were having a shitty time back then but you're through that now & looking to become a trusted member of the community.
Hopefully he'll remove it, we all deserve a 2nd chance don't we?

It doesnt really work like that. It took you almost a year to pay back a loan. Looks to me like you've only paid it back because you've realised your account is worth more than what you scammed.

nahhh, I been here 4 years now and he is in the elite trust abuser club, VOD, Quickseller and Tomatocage.

I see it every day, even people who don't deserve it. He is quick to call scammer, He has insecurity issues.

anyway, You only have 84 posts. create a new account. You can have no neg trust then.

i trust their ratings they helped a lot of users
creating an account is not solution, why i should hide myself by creating a new account when i hav repaid my debt, i know it was late and i am feeling sorry about this but i repaid it
i am asking for a second chance to be a good member of bitcointalk

..

help appreciated

I think you should finish this issue as soon as you got red-ve from Tomatocage. And for now it's almost a year it means that you're not seriuosly repaid the loan  Sad But just like other said, try to communicate with him, I'm sure he will decide a wise decision upon your trust.

IDK. If negative trust won't be removed after repaying what was scammed/borrowed then there is little incentive to pay back your victims.

It would obviously be a bad idea to ever lend to him again, however as long as he can prove it was him that actually sent the funds then I don't see any issue with having the negative removed.

Have you signed a message from the address that sent the funds to repay the loan?

If not then it would be possible that the lender simply accidentally had funds send to himself that happened to be your repayment address

You would probably have to do better then a screenshot as they can be faked pretty easily. I would say that alternate proof would be to allow tomatocage to access your online account so he can see the transaction himself.

Yeah, go ahead and let someone else access your account. Just so they can remove feedback....

I would advise never let anyone have credentials to your account.

Since he has paid the loan, the negative trust is invalid and it can be changed to neutral. He must have had issues earlier but that makes him untrustworthy but not a scammer. If the negative feedback isn't removed even after paying back the loan, all loan defaulters would giveaway their account instead of paying back their loan. Is this what we want?
