good question, i will try this wallet to see if i like it when i arrive to my house so maybe if i start to like it so much it will be interesting if we  can import private keys on them.

There is no option to import a private key and or to add any public key for watch only purposes, at least none that I know of.

I believe this project[1] is no longer open source[2] guys and the fact that they are still pushing updates on the Play store while no modifications are being made to the GitHub repository proves it as well. It's probably best to use this wallet but with caution, they definitely gained a lot of users from this BCH thing.

That is why they decided to change their license.

The AppStore says "coming soon" since a while now so I believe Its coming, as for the Desktop version, according to their FAQ (that was made on June 2017) a wallet should come soon on Windows, Mac & Linux but you could contact the support to be sure because It could be canceled and the website never got updated.

#859240 Doubt Being Processed   since 10 days 3 hours  if you need reach coinomi forget,  I strongly suggest stick with altcoins core wallet on a virtual machine at least you have community support if needed, n don't have issues with import export pk to non hd wallets

Since this morning, the Coinomi app crashes on my phone: "Coinomi stopped", "Close App" (translated back into English, so it may not be exact matches).

The app didn't get updated since the last time it worked. I don't really want risk erasing all data and recover from seed, as that always feels like a risk. Is there anything else I can do/try to get it working again on my phone (other than exporting my private key or exposing my seed to another phone)?

You might try to navigate into the application settings and click on 'Clear Cache'. This will removed cached data from this application.
Starting the app the first time does take a bit longer, but the issue might get resolved.

Make sure that you do not click on 'Clear Data', as this would erase all settings/files created by this application (i.e. wallet file).


Another option would be to restart your phone. This sounds trivial, but can help in some cases (especially if the mobile is turned on for quite a long time already).

I tried that already, but it didn't work.

Now I'm posting here anyway: Coinomi is using a lot of data, up to more than 800 MB per month for 6 different coins (on Wifi), which is about 40 times more than Mycelium uses.
