Hi guys, I'm recently wondering all this work and investments we do with bitcoin, and 2015 hasn't been a very pleasant year for btc. Do y'all think that bitcoin will keep going up or drop to what it once has in 2009? Just imagine one day bitcoin drops 200 dollars, that will probably give all of us depression. Advice and predictions please   |

with thinking we can only lead to pure speculation, and the uncertainty will remain no matter what we think or what we believe
but if you want someone other opinion to cheer you up or to feel more comfortable, i can see that it will not fall back to 2009 so easily, and based on the math that there is behind, bitcoin should go up in the end, it is only a matter of waiting few more halving

Stop ovethinking the price fluctuations, it's just a matter of time until the price picks up pace again.
Bitcoin should be considered a long term investment, and not be dumped on first shakedown that happens. Be smarter than that.

It's definitely going down to 2009 levels...like pennies per coin. Psych.
No man, I think it's going up. Not to the moon or astronomical levels like many think but I think the currency/asset has legs and viability and with more awareness and realization that it's not "drug dealer money" or "terrorist money" a lot of growth stands before us.
I say all that, with no facts or predictive analysis...all just my biased opinion.

I think bitcoin will continue to rise in the years to come, although the price is still very volatile bitcoin in recent months, but there is a tendency to continue to rise, if you want to invest in bitcoin then now is the right time to invest

I think we will break 250 in the next week and 300 in the next month. But really, who wants to say that something they have money invested in is going to go to hell?

I think the price will going up, no matter what happen Especially we closer to halving time and looks like bitcoin became famous recently. |

In the long term the price of BTC will go up. Everyone who can not take the swings it's makes until we reached the point of mass adoption should get out or stay away.Simple is that.Just invest what you can afford to lose and enjoy the ride.  |

I will be very honest. Bitcoin will maybe go down, yes it will. Not much though, just a little but it will boom up with twice the speed. Fluctuations are a part of the investment and you need to stay strong, confident and really positive. I have a feeling that btc might just hit 400-450 in mid 2016.

If you refer to price in these months (july,august and september) probably will stay between 250/280$. In long times it will go up. Probably it will increase is value of some hundreds of $.

no matter bitcoin will down or up, because the world needs bitcoin as a currency in the future. so it does not matter if you save bitcoin for a long time.
Just note, slowly people began to recognize bitcoin, start using it and begin to store and considered valuable, just a matter of time will tell

There is still a lot of doubt and suspicion about bitcoin because of things like Mt Gox, Silk Road, and ongoing security concerns rather it be outright theft or the unregulated exchanges. Unfortunately, I think there are still quite a few sink or swim moments left for bitcoin and only time will tell if bitcoin manages to stay afloat.
However, I'm hopeful that bitcoin will weather the storms on the horizon and that other crypto-currencies will peacefully coexist and prosper as well.

If you have been here for long enough, you wouldn't say that 20-30 dollars up or down aren't stable. If you get depression over those bounces, then this is not for you. Strong men survive a loss of 80% and hold through it to meet its long term goal vision, if your mentality can't cope with that you'll get burned. |

If you have been here for long enough, you wouldn't say that 20-30 dollars up or down aren't stable. If you get depression over those bounces, then this is not for you. Strong men survive a loss of 80% and hold through it to meet its long term goal vision, if your mentality can't cope with that you'll get burned. I have lost enough, more than 90%, so don't prejudge. I like the price to go more than 350$ but seems a dream for this year at least. |
