So.. In the beginning we had CPU and GPU miners..
Now we have single ASIC units that can do a thousand times more calculations per second.

What is maximum hashrate from a single mining unit?
Not counting amount of miners connected from one pc.. But one single box that connects with a single ethernet or USB cable.

Any ideas?

Miner Edge is developing high density miners.  I think they are at 6+Th per 1U unit.

Still in development but I would not be surprised if they are the highest per unit in this coming year.

That project is currently put on hold until price of Bitcoin improves or they improve the efficiency of their miners.

well if you say the lowest watt per gh makes a  king or best miner  then sidehack and novac's usb sticks are the maximum as they get .31 watts per gh.

Not available yet, but I have the design finalized and I'm stressing some final prototypes over the weekend (mostly because I can) and will be sending them out to testers come Monday. Hopefully on Monday I'll have secured the rest of the money I needed for the chip order from Bitmain (only a couple weeks late, grumble grumble accounts receivable) and will be starting the "preorder queue" pretty soon.

well if someone builds it and it is 100ph at 10 kwatts he need not sell it .  He could run it self mining.

It would be best not to control 50% of the mining power if your mission is not to destroy bitcoin.
