Yes use multisig wallet is more secure. Bit-X use multisig wallet but don't store your btc on exchanger, especially with big amount.
Use Electrum, they support for multisig wallet: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=973768.0

armory is also great for multisig, and is also great for cold storage. not too sure about the features it offers vs electrum, but ive heard all around great things about armory.

i use blockchain.info too but it was always accessible for me and never had any issue with it, i guess i am just lucky.

You are lucky or you haven't used Blockchain wallet long enough. It was having LOTS of downtime since the end of last year but it has improved a lot over the last couple of months.

Xapo and wallets like that are worse that bc.i because you don't have access to your private keys and you put 100% of your trust in their service.

I said that in my post. For newbies, they don't have a lot to loose and zero fees is a real plus for them when collecting small amounts.

Currently i am using coinbase, many friends says that it is not safe as they store their btc in cloud.
But for me since now it is good, also 2FA is enable to protect every tx.

How if the site down? Hacker attack? And you lost your btc.
Better to don't store a big amount in hot wallet. If you want a wallet to easy to use, try electrum, easy to use, 2FA support now and you don't need to download data.

Not good to use exchange wallet IMO. They can shut down their site and your coins is gone. Better to use desktop wallet or mycelium for mobile

i have been using an online wallet (blockchain.info) for a long time, you can continue using coinbase too and you might never encounter any problem at all. but it is always safer to use a desktop wallet like Electrum for example.

but if you do a little search, you can see that there are a lot of people that lost their bitcoin because of using online wallets. first understand the risks and then make your decision.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

isn't bitcoin wallet for mobile better than any other one? it is literally called bitcoin wallet same icon as the core we all know
wallet online can be secure if you know what you're doing, and don't download malicious files
with all the measures about security like 2fa and email confirmation, i can not really see a easy hacking
the problem it's always of the user and not on the online wallet, unless they face and hackers
and iin this case will not be your fault, but only in this case

most exchanges warn people they are shutting down and to withdraw whatever balanced they have a fair amount of time before actually shutting down their servers, but regardless, keeping coins on an exchange long term is a bad idea.

I'd use electrum. it's not resource hungry, really secure and easily portable thanks to seed passwords
