This is very bad. What will happen with those old addresses exactly?

Primedice did something similiar and nobody checked the thread and people still kept depositing in those addresses and they had to manually credit everybody.

I think you should slowly transition to this new wallet within the next few months but keep the old ones still active because many people will still deposit to those addresses.

Maybe send an email to everybody informing them of this decision.

As long as they are making a good progression everytime then it should not be worry, except they are losing much coin then it must be questioned. Because I still prefer site with slowly progress instead of faster but no result in the end. whenever i invest forward , the backwards step i take are in perspective of looking sideways at all the things above me.
i must be throwing my gains slowly into the wind then i can quickly reward before i step in the quicksand. this is when i truly know i am me.

But still slowly progression with some steady outcome is better than faster progression with a quick outcome but only for some period of the time. I do not know others investors but most of them willing to aim for a long term roi instead of a short one but I do not say that there is no people aim for short term.
