Hi, guys,

just ask me tech questions and I will consult you for free.

If you have some nasty bug in your Drupal install or need to build a website - ask.

Common sense applies - I wont be taking hours of my time to help you for free - but 5-30 mins here and there are 100% okay.

I want to help you and hopefully win you as my client.

I like my clients smart - so thats why I post this in here. Lots of smart people indeed.

RULES of discussion:
- Everybody is allowed one post per question and I will post and re-edit one answer-post to that question.
- The bulk of the communication can be done over PM-s or even better skype - my skype is drupal-pro .
- This way the thread wont get too long and hard to read.
- if it is confidential - PM me or skype me.

What do you think ?

Most people google issues with WP etc, as its fairly straight forward unless customing stuff.

"unless customing stuff. " - damn right - it gets fucked up when custom stuff comes into play... when you are building a feature with drupal - that needs thinking ...

So there it is when my experience comes into play - saving you googling time and doing/building things you could do very hard if at all...

"Most people " ... I dont aim at "most people" - I seek customers who value a good drupal builder/developer and who value their own time .

Well, I don't know if this is too much for free advice, but I'll give it a shot....

I'm nearing completion on a Bitpay payment module for Ubercart/Drupal. The module can be downloaded at the below link (WARNING: it's unfinished, and I need further testing. Anyone who grabs it and runs with it, does so at your own risk!)

Edit: altered code and uploaded newer zip file

Further edit: I've posted the module up on github for public viewing and editing.

/edit

I'd like to have the module settings (function uc_payment_method_bitpay in file uc_bitpay.module) be validated whenever they're saved. The settings don't have their own submit button, they get saved whenever the submit button at the bottom of the form which applies to all method settings gets clicked. But despite looking for documentation and going over the code, I can't find how to create a hook for it. (Yes, I'm fairly new to Drupal.)

I've already got the code to do the validating created and set aside into a function. Where do I put the function name so it'll be called when appropriate?

ATTENTION BFL MINING NEWBS: Just got your Jalapenos in? Wondering how to get the most value for the least hassle? Give BitMinter a try! It's a smaller pool with a fair & low-fee payment method, lots of statistical feedback, and it's easier than EasyMiner! (Yes, we want your hashing power, but seriously, it IS the easiest pool to use! @last two posters and the rest - PM me so I notice your post better - the watchlist system of the forum sometimes misbehaves...
