Developer has not posted in over 3 months. I think that qualifies as his having abandoned the coin. Unless someone steps up and takes over, I would assume this coin is dead.

If you ask someone nicely & give the last known block in the blockchain that everyone agrees on in a bootstrap.dat (If it accepts it that way) then you could have the network running again.
