Hello everyone,

I'll be doing an European group buy for the PaperSafe - Satoshi Note. If you don't know what that is, you have been missing something. Checkout this thread for more information.

PricesA single PaperSafe note is $35. BG4 has reserved 10 notes for my group buy, so no need to worry that they are sold out before this group buy ends.

The notes will be shipped for free to me, if we purchase more than 10 pieces.

ShippingThe Netherlands: €7.95
Rest of Europe: €11.00
Both are Registered mail with Track & Trace included. 6 notes maximum per envelope.

The Netherlands: €3.45
Rest of Europe: €10.35
Plain shipping (not Registered and no Track & Trace). 6 notes maximum per envelope.

Extra costs

• We may need to pay VAT to import the note's into The Netherlands, which is the largest extra cost we have. VAT is currently at 21% and the average import cost is at 4%.
• The disbursement fee of the used postal service (UPS charges €11.25, PostNL €13, EMS €17,50, etc.). This only applies if we need to pay VAT.
• The bubblewrapped envelopes. €4 for 10 pieces.

Terms

• The group buy won't happen if not at least 5 notes are ordered.
• The group buy will be closed, for new participants, when we hit 20 notes or on the 13th of July. Whatever comes first.
• Once the group buy is closed for new participants the final price will be determined and split between the participants.
• Any BTC that is left over (because we didn't need to pay VAT, the BTC value went up, etc) will be evenly distributed between the participants.
• If we are somehow short of BTC, I'll cover it up front. The amount of BTC that has to be paid will be evenly distributed between participants. Your package won't be sent if you don't pay your part of the debt. If you don't pay at all, your mote will be auctioned off to cover the cost and any leftovers are kept.
• Terms can be changed at any moment, so please keep track of them (important announcement will be posted in the thread).

Welcome to the group buy. Do you want to get your Note shipped or do you want to meetup somewhere? I travel from Hengelo to Amsterdam almost every weekend (by train), so a little detour isn't a big deal.

I see that you're basing this on your Kialara thread. However, I don't see why there'd be a need to pay any import tax as these shouldn't really have a high marked value on the shipping label.

It all depends on what BG4 puts on the label and if the customs open the package. Even if BG4 were to put a low number on the package, the customs could still open it, see strange notes and decide to Google their price. The value of 1 note is already over the allowed import value of my country, so it is something we should consider possible.

21% sounds like a lot, I know, but if 10 people buy 10 notes, than it's "just" €6.60. And if they don't check the package, you get your money back.

As far as I know, they don't allow me to pick note numbers. I'll be sending the notes out as random as possible or I could do an auction on the numbers once I know which ones we get. Whatever you guys want, I'm open to ideas.

Probably fairer to give the lowest number to whoever put their name down first then on from there ( after your good self of course for organising the group buy ).

Like I said, I'm open to ideas. Once I have enough, I'll do a poll and see what people want. I don't mind having a higher number, I just want one of them.

Great, there is one number I have in mind that would be great to get and would pay a small extra premium to get it. Oh, and not looking for the lowest number
