The survival on this planet with people turning from God, will be nil. People are turning to science and will continue to do so until your christian god goes the way of Zeus. Don't worry. Mankind has gone the way of his gods many times. When the science-god has run its course, the faithful in it will follow its destruction as well.

Unlike the devil, Beliathon has a chance to gain eternal life with us. Who wants to spend eternity with a bunch of God brown nosers? Sounds like hell. People that wish heaven remind me of king Midas and his foolish wish.

If Israel is destroyed, I will devote the rest of my life to the extermination of the human species. Any species that goes down this road again less than 100 years after the holocaust needs to be fucking wiped out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Affair_of_the_Gang_of_BarbariansIlan Halimi: tortured and murdered in France by barbarian Jew haters who'd be very comfortable here at bitcointalk.

Yes, we've allowed industrial-capitalist civilization to ravage the Earth for far too long. But do you honestly believe anything other than science has a chance to repair the damage we've done? If we were to abandon science NOW, after it's changed everything, it would amount to mass-suicide. Without fossil fuel, we can't produce the fertilizer we use to grow 85%+ of the food we grow. Without science, 4 out of every 5 people alive today would starve to death. How many theists do you think would remain after such an asinine apocalypse? Who wants to spend eternity with a bunch of God brown nosers? Sounds like hell. If I end up in the same afterlife as these fuckwits, there's gonna be a whole-lotta god-murderin' happening up there.

People that wish heaven remind me of king Midas and his foolish wish. There are 2 kinds of pain in Hell. 1. The weaker pain is the pain of having your soul destroyed. It is like the pain of pure burning sensation throughout your whole body. It will be eternal because your soul is eternal. Even if you have no body, the sensation will be there, because your soul is the thing that interprets you bodily sensations anyway. 2. The greater pain will be the absence of the joy that could have been there for you in the presence of God and all the saved people, and the angels. Take it or leave it. Through Jesus, the choice is now yours.

Theists wait for God to get rid of the old world and come up with a new one. Back when the bible was written, they may have wondered why such a line existed in the bible, but now it makes sense. Revelation 21 and I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away

Or 2) Talking out your backside, with crazy wild speculation built on soft sinking sand. Now I wonder what one it is. I wonder indeed.

Are you ignorant? Or just a troll-like propagandizer? Do you really believe this stuff you spout, especially when science, itself, shows you the opposite?

People I am not a believer but I haven't heard never a religious (from every part of religion) to tell: people don't do sex. Sex is bad and you must abstain to it. they condemn the degeneration, the sex with more than one women or out of the marriage but not the sex on itself. So I don't understand this confrontation between the religion and the sex.

Illegitimate sex is a problem for many, many people. Illegitimate sex harms families and children, in addition to being wrong in the eyes of God. The point that religion is trying to get across is to control one's self with regard to sex. Keep it in the family, between the husband and wife. Sex, itself, in the family, is promoted by religion. God wants us to have children. God wants us to have pleasure the right way.

Baffles me too. There's some thoughts on the sex preoccupation issue here at number 9, entitled "Christianity has a morbid, unhealthy preoccupation with sex." http://www.seesharppress.com/20reasons.htmlOh and at number 10 as well. Here's 15 reasons why you should ignore the religious "going to hell for masturbating" nonsense as well. http://www.logicalspiritualism.com/Default.aspx?action=list-view&id=15

I personally don't think religion is going anywhere for a long time. But that it will remain a more progressive and less dogmatic capacity. More denominations are becoming accepting of homosexuality and birth control

More denominations are becoming accepting of homosexuality and birth control
You embrace homosexuality, the next youth wave will fight for pansexuality and polyamory rights. You embrace polyamory, the next wave will demand sexual rights at puberty and 13 as new age of consent. You embrace that, they'll push for the right to nudity and sex in public, and the abolition of "indecent exposure" laws. For every inch theist organizations give here, the next generation of kids will take three. It's not going to end well for Christianity, the dogma will be stretched way too thin, and then it will snap. It's a rearguard effort, defensive and ultimately futile. Accept reality: the age of religion is over.

Accept reality, the age of religion is over. This is exactly where you are wrong. Here's how you are wrong. Over the past several thousand years, people have done exactly as you say in your post that I am quoting above. Yet, throughout those thousands of years, Christianity and religion of all kinds have made gigantic comebacks. If there was any strength to lasciviousness, these comebacks would not have happened. More importantly, God doesn't approve of the lasciviousness. He, Himself, is the one Who finds people that want to be righteous in God's eyes. At the same time He destroys the lascivious people. You might be comforting yourself and a few others by expressing the things that you are expressing. But you are causing your own ultimate destruction at the same time... except if you turn before it is too late...

More importantly, God doesn't approve of the lasciviousness. Oh dear, looks like a nasty case of WGW (What God Wants) syndrome rearing it's ugly head again. You need to nip that problem in the bud my friend, it will only get worse you know. He destroys the lascivious people. More WGW I'm afraid. What your trying to say is YOU want God to destroy lascivious people because of your lack of fulfillment.

Yes, religion isn't going anywhere soon. Religions change, old ones die out, man invents new ones, some go out of favour, others flourish. Oh dear, looks like Christianity is on terminal decline. Bet they wish they could turn back the clock to the "good old days". You know, the days they used to beat to death unbelievers for not joining their cult. That never failed to boost numbers.
