For me it's the freedom to move your money around from one place  to another without restrictions. You can virtually use your bitcoin almost anywhere that you go without the fear of being taken away. With more adoption it should be universal currency. Another good about it is the fees. No ridiculous payment to the banks or losses from the spread when changing from one currency to another.

What do you like best about bitcoin?
Decentralization, transparency or easier to move?
Or just it makes you look cool? Wink

It makes me look cool, and my money can't be taken from me if banks crash.

Hopefully we won't see the government forcibly taking people's bitcoins away in the future, by means of demands or otherwise.

I am new to bitcoins and really excited to use and know more about bitcoins. Since many years we are using our traditional physical currency for day to day transactions and our banks are playing major role to regulate the transaction, but due to the introduction of Bitcoins people have more payment options for the  transactions and they can skip the banks for the same which is an advantage for everyone. Bitcoins are easy to understand, no restrictions of banks and we can be our own bank - these are few positive things about bitcoins.

I like the fact that it is come and go for me.  They can come in quick, go quick, but the bottom line is you can earn some free coins for doing a little work, which I really enjoy.

Bitcoin is better than any other cryptocurrency for a simple reason that other cryptocurrency such as Litecoin and Dogecoin could hardly be used to purchase for retail commodities even if they are accepted by the dealers. And they are usually used for investment or storage value.

The best about bitcoin is world wide as a single currency. There is no need of worrying about borders. One world one currency. How best the bitcoin is....

Yeah, and that is the best factor that attracts the new users towards the bitcoins, the decentralisation associated with it makes it unique from other currencies and also the speed of transactions with minimum cost is the added advantage, it has ruined the use of credit cards which was monopolist for online shopping, and now we can purchase goods online with the help of bitcoins, no credit card needed anymore  Grin

I love learning and mining it. I also like anonymity and no gov can freeze it, so assured income from somewhere when SHTF. If Canada goes funny, I could likely get bread and milk and meat for mum and dad as well as myself. Maybe not QUITE assured, but something to help me.

1. Identity theft can happen if someone could have access to your wallet.
2. For now you funds can't be frozen but I expect in the future this could change, unfortunately, to bring bitcoin on a same level with other payment methods.

Not at all possible in a decentralized system.
With an online wallet services when you do not have access to your wallet private keys, they can do any restriction or freezing accounts are possible. But that's not with bitcoin functionality. Up to my understanding any restrictions or freezing is not possible as long as we believe in bitcoin is decentralized.

It is the best for me because there's a lot of way where you can use it.

Depends on the place you live in, too, especially in NY where regulations are strict that makes it hard to buy bitcoins from exchanges.

I love the way Bitcoins can't be seized by the government!

That's the benefit we can enjoy in the decentralized system. As long as you hold your private keys safer no one can seize your bitcoins. But when we go for online third party bitcoin storage like wallets, and we do not have private keys there are chances to be seized by the third party.
