Of course do not download Electrum from the link posted by this user, most probably it contains a trojan. Get it only from the official site.

OP is this the TX you used to make the payment?
https://blockchain.info/tx/f5bfab962eb583096115d95106dd3a82a677eb00bdad3976405aa1d21764ff0d
Do you see that TX in your wallet?

If so most probably this is a change address of yours:
1WZgq4b5K6mUkJ96KLfjedNSr8vRM3Xs8
Can't you find that address? Check below 'Change' or hit Control+S and paste it.

You may need to sync the wallet. Try going to settings and manually choose another Electrum server.

Or was a completely new TX created after you made the payment? Please share more details.

May be, if BTCBLOGGER received ~0.16BTC ask him to refund yours? If he/she's genuine he/she'll sure refund yours.

What is your xpub key? This will allow anyone to be able to see any transaction in your particular electrum wallet, however will not have access to any private keys.

+1. Please input your xpub key in an explorer and see if there is any balance.

Eg:- https://blockchain.info/xpub/xpub6CUGRUonZSQ4TWtTMmzXdrXDtypWKiKrhko4egpiMZbpiaQL2jkwSB1icqYh2cfDfVxdx4df189oLKnC5fSwqPfgyP3hooxujYzAu3fDVmz

i tried but my wallet is nt being sync...but m still trying and will tell u if i am suceeded

Check if your firewall blocks Electrum but it is unlikely as you were using it previously. Please close and re-open it and check if syncing problem persists.

Btw, please lock other thread in Technical Support. It is double-posting and is against forum rules.

Are you sure that the Bitcoin is missing? It seems like the other address it sent to was a change address. Double check your wallet and see if the other address that transaction sent Bitcoin to was a change address.

Wait, how do you get the xpub out of Electrum? I took that URL above, deleted the 6CUGRU onward, and pasted my Electrum MPK after /xpub/xpub but keep getting "Illegal character 0 at (whatever position the 0 is at)"

You can find it by clicking Wallet --> MasterPublicKey

That's exactly what I did. Apparently my MPK is an old version since I didn't generate a new wallet/seed when I upgraded to 2.3.2 or prior updates. My MPK does not have xpub as the first 4 characters.

Your xpub key should start with "xpub". I was having problems viewing this person's xpub transactions when I tried copying the xpub key he posted, however after close inspection of the key in my browser, there was a space between two of the letters, and deleting the space allowed me to see the transactions of his xpub key (of which in his case, happened to be none)

Why don't you create a new wallet with your old seed words.  You will loose your transaction labels, but you will get all your bitcoin back.

1. Go to Wallet menu --> Seed (enter your wallet password if you have one) - Write down your seed words on a piece of paper.

2. Go to File menu --> New/Restore --> give your new wallet a proper name --> Select Restore a wallet or import keys --> enter your seed words

Hope this helps.

Just did that, MPK still does not have xpub as the first 4 characters. Thanks for having me wipe all my labels for nothing!

LOL j/k I'd backed up the previous wallet and restored them.

And I found the only way to get an xpub is to create an entirely new seed. The old seed wordlist is INCOMPATIBLE.
