Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I respect your effort TheMightyKnight, but it would be better to have a DEV first, then announce the take over. Now it is just a plan to make a community take over.

Myself, don't hold any COV, but I wish you all the best.

Thank you for your concern. But I am in profit Wink

If the roadmap was finished, this takeover wouldn't even be necessary Tongue

I disagree with you. I believe this coin has potential. Thank you for your support Smiley

As many takeovers as necessary will be made

I wish you the best of luck! I really do...  Wink

You know, a new " coin " can be bought for ~0.5-2 btc depending on the features... Just saying... Wink

I know, but a new coin is not COV Wink

And this coin wears its name very well: coven means assembly or community.

And that's what will give it value along with its features.

And frankly: I like to save dead coins on my mighty horse Tongue

Of course you can call it coven... Since the old one is " dead "  you can revive it by a complete fresh blockchain and do the swap manually yourself. That way Coven-dev is out of the picture officially, and the dev-torch could be passed on to a new developer

I was just thinking the other day, the one thing this coin really needs is another ANN thread.

There are many better coins that have been abandoned. Why COV?

any addnodes?  I can't even get the wallet connected.

found em but it seems like the cov2 wallet that I downloaded and sent my coins to (never received the coins either) is incompatible with the cov1 blockindex.dat.  And with this I must give a fare ado.  If the community and dev are providing wallets that can't swap in between each other and cause people like I to lose their coins.  Then that is just something I cannot support.

Hopefully everything goes ok for you.

Gosh. Why do you think there is a resources section on this OP ? Roll Eyes

See the big Windows logo ?

Yea I see it but it dont say a damn thing about what version it is.Looks just like the other what 4 or 5 threads about this coin.I get tired of reading pages and pages of bullshit just to find relevant information. It says 1.20 at github so im assuming that version 1 wallet?. Anyway thanks.  Smiley

I am sorry for your loss. But it was clearly stated: use wallet for COV not COV2.

It was stated by the original dev, who I was told to listen too said that yobit had converted their wallets and it was safe to send with the wallet he provided.  The transfer was done a while before you sent the PM.

Good thing it was just a small amount 53.
