I dunno, haven't looked at either. No offense but was hoping for advice from someone with more than 43 posts...

You're in luck, I have 44 (now 45!) Wink.

Anyways, I do LTC->BTC->MtGox->Dwolla.
As far as fees goes, there's a small exchange fee, which is 0.2% for btc-e and 0.6% on MtGox. Then a Dwolla fee of $0.25 for receiving more than $10. So in all it's not that much. You may have to go through AML verification, however.

Edit: there's also https://fastcash4bitcoins.com/, which I have not personally used, but is run by TangibleCryptography here on the forums.

Interesting... And this method is zero risk?

And this is now the second time I'm hearing of fastcash4bitcoins.com maybe someone else who has personal experience with them can give me some info?

It's pretty risky, us being newbies and and way more newbie than you with more than twice our post count, we just want you to get screwed out of your hard earned bitcoins and go to that scammer website.  Those two sites are probably the noobiest out of all the bitcoin sites, I feel bad I shouldn't have lied to you, don't use those sites, find another way to do it.

I have personally done many transactions with paypal, even sold 17BTC with a paypal transaction. As long as the person is credible and has a good rating with gribble, then I trade. I have also traded for Amazon gift cards before too.

Hey nush! What is gribble?

I know I said I was done responding to you, but I had to share this last little bit of information:

Do you know what my FAVORITE feature of this forum is...?

The "ignore" button. Let me introduce you...

I already tried to introduce you to my favorite feature, the "search" feature.

Well, I'm not currently in the market yet, but I am working on  getting a BTC loan here in the forums so that I can invest in a worthwhile mining rig. I am doing my research in the meantime so that I know safe ways to buy and sell because if I am able to obtain the loan I will need to convert it to cash so I can spend it on my intended rig.

How does bitcoin otc work exactly? Is there any danger involved in selling there?
